I thought I was the only one. That's buddy I appreciate that you feel the same way.
Well I was in my garage yesterday and after looking around at the various challenge cars online yesterday I certainly am feeling better about it. Picked out my steering wheel and am ordering that pretty soon.
Hey Jamie, I sincerely apologize to you, my words were abit harsh. I too am on my 28th car since high school and get bored very easily. I know where you are coming from, so don't think I am a purist of anything let alone Ferraris. I've modified the hell out of most of the cars I've own, but I liked every one of them, just couldn't afford to keep all around. Thru the years however, I've learned that modifying these kinds of cars in most cases, makes them less desirable and brings the price down. I've seem countless Porsches, Beemers, and Ferraris that's been molested badly. Upgrades in good taste is not bad but still you probably won't get back what you put into it because your taste is not always what others like. The only thing I've done to my Ferrari is to swap the steering wheel for a classico wooden Nardi which I've always wanted. I've kept everything else stock. So its just one mans opinion, I know you love your car, thats why you bought it. Just don't molest it, get bored, and dump it on Ebay for low prices which I know you won't. Happy motoring and again its your car, make it yours !
...its like having sex with your woman and she's just not doing for you anymore.. please change partners and give her a chance to find true love once more !!
Don't worry about it Mike. Sometimes I have found I need to just vent about something that is bugging me and the problem kinda goes away. My complaints about my 348 are just crap really. Still don't like the 4 panel door though . But I was able to open my eyes a bit wider and appreciate what I have after I complained about it. Just the way it is with me sometimes. I will tell you my proudest moment with it... Two weeks ago I got a parking ticket for not having a front plate in downtown Denver. Let me tell you when my oldest daughter got into the car and I shut the door behind her that ticket and any of my piddly issues with the 348 went away. She was like mmmm it smells like money and I cracked back more like I have no money. Brings a smile to my face thinking about that.
I don't know why, but the City of Denver seems to have a big issue with no front plate. That is the only place in the metro area were I have heard of so many tickets for not having a front plate. Maybe that is the City's scheme for making easy money.
