    Don't your front tires grab the lips of your front fenders? I had to have mine cut and rolled, or it would do that every time I had my steering wheel one turn out and then have the inside front wheel lifted by a ramp, speed bump or any other larger obstacle. Quite terrible.

    I ended up raising the car a bit too, as this clearly was a bit low... But even then, this would happen (the one with the F16 in the back is as it's sitting now)

    No I was surprised they don't rub. I didn't lower the car on purpose.
    When the suspension was redone the springs for superformance were used. They are slightly shorter than stock and definitely stiffer. I guess not short enough to rub.

    Most European cars are driven hard, cosmetics are a "detail", rust means actual holes, asking prices are all over the place.

    In NL and Germany you have dealers importing below avg, 15k US cars and dumping them on the EU market for 30k.

    Which part do you disagree with? Sure there are some nice, no stories cars, I'm talking about the majority.

    That's a lightweight ally replica of the bumper shape with cooling holes. The original could go back if I wished. That plus a Mercedes Cosworth rad and extra shrouding keeps everything nice and cool at race pace!

    the 4 in GT4 is for the 4 camshafts not seats the original designation if I am correct was Dino 308 GT4 2+2

    It's easy just remember Mario and Maria. Masculine ends in an "O" and feminine ends in an "A"...there are exceptions.

    Well a few years ago strong restrictions to free circulation applied to cars with collector titles. So there was a strong penalty on resale price. Now the restrictions are gone but collector titles are still frowned upon



    I see what you mean now, and i agree with the general picture. I just think that your entry price point for a good GT4 at 25k€ is too low. It is not like that anymore. I would be happy to be wrong but I know many people that have looked for one in the past few months, and nobody found one at this price. But it is true that some cars sit for a very long time at the dealer's.

    With the past restrictions I could understand, but without, 5 years inspections and cheap insurance are not bad.



    In Germany there are cars from 3-4 years ago. This is "normal".

    In fact insurance cost is the same whether with a regular title or a collector title.
    The only interest is, as you mentioned, the possibility to have the tech inspection every 5 years instead of 2 years. I guess when you have a lot of cars it is interesting. I have only this one so why bother?

    Really? I spoke briefly with an insurance company in France last year, and they asked about my daily driver, so I thought the price would differ. In the US, Germany, Holland it's considerably lower for classic cars.


    I guess if you're used to it, it's acceptable. I don't have to do it at all in the US, so I was glad to get the 07 plates in Germany which only require the tech inspection for the initial registration.
    Quite practical, especially when the car is mostly stored at the vacation home.
