Price before reading the fine prints associated with the '' * '' , which probably doubles by the end. Can't afford the gas money anyways. I'll just stick to my 328. Thanks.
Just got back from Florida. Just wanted to let you guys know that my visit to the Ferrari Store was a dissapointment for the 2nd year in a row. The quality of the garments and the designs are just getting worse and worse. There also was absolutely zero discounts or Christmas sales. If any of you go to Florida or anywhere else, try the Puma store instead. I found really nice official Ferrari gear there and the prices were much better. Plus they had a 50% discount so I got a tuque, sweater and cotton jacket for 87$. A great deal!!!
Yeah, that's the one I go to all the time....last time I bought anything was 2010. The Puma store at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise had very few Ferrari items but they were all nice and done right. I think that, as a sponsor, Puma has their own Ferrari license for garments and makes much nicer stuff.
Last time I was in FL I went to Ferrari of Tampa Bay. Bought a very nice storm jacket over there and price was reasonable...And the cars in the showroom were outstanding!
Well, I guess that the first post of 2013 belongs to me!! Wishing you all a great 2013 and a Happy Winter Slumber my Qc brethren!

Hold on a minute.....aren't you the one that told me NOT to start my car in the wintertime and to just leave her alone? What's this all about??? LOL!!!
Actually a good idea to start your car a few times over the winter. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140754917&postcount=15 Denis
Well, there was a big discussion about it in this thread I started and the majority and consensus seemed to indicate that, based on my situation, it was best not to start it. And yes Bernie, you were right....!!! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=387883
If I May.... Happy New Year to all ! Busy being sick with a nasty flu in Florida of all places !! As far as staring your car during winter months, I strongly advise against it especially if you have a dry sump motor. Most Ferrari motors are dry sump and that means that the oil sits at the bottom, so every time you crank the engine, there's a bit of wear that takes place seeing that the oil needs to make its way up into the various components that require lubricating. So, having said that, unless ou plan on driving the car, do not start it. Another problem that arises when doing starts is the condensation that builds up in your cats, if you don't bring up the temperature to full operation specs, you risk not burning all the condensate and well.....need I say more.... But hey, to each his own, whatever floats your boat, just offering a little advice.... To all, a healthy, happy and prosperous 2013. Lots of miles and smiles ! Lino
Thanks for the advice Lino...I don't have any cats but I still choose not to start it. It's actually less headaches. Enjoy the weather and get well soon! I was there in december, we should all get out of here and move down permanently.
In my case: - I start it to de-gum the carbs. - Clogging the cats isn't an issue since I have none. - I drive it, so operating temps are attained. As far as the wear during start up..well, it's collateral damage.
I would like to give everyone a little heads up regarding a fund-rasier that directly affects two of our long-time FCA friends/directors. This fundraiser is the Friends For Life, and will be held on February 2nd at the Crown Plaza, Volare Reception Hall (6600 Cote-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1E3) The details can be found by clicking on the link here below. If you cant make the event, I strongly urge you to make a donation. http://www.mountainlake.org/support/friends.html Thanks! Image Unavailable, Please Login
