Any Singapore Ferrari owners?

My brother had a silver F355 with red interior/leather/dashboard/carpets. It's a beauty and the car had tubi on it. Saw the car last year but the owner has changed the color.

 

Oh that's your brother's car! Marcus showed me that car in Orchard & it went to Raymond before passing on. That must have been 10years ago

 

I had the Aventador to drive for a week or so. The Oem exhaust note is the best I have heard in a long while. Very exotic sounding at start up. Deeper and sharper than
previous model. Handling is also much sharper and sportier compared to LP640. Did not push the limits too much but I suspect the heavy engine in the rear will require some respect in corners
All recent Ferraris I have driven so far are much easier to drive compared to this Lambo. The old 640 is soft compared to it. My GTR is much easier and faster to drive but this Aventador is the ultimate for having the wow! factor

not really ... it handles like a v10 gallardo .........

i tracked one and was amazed at the way it went around sepang ...

 

Some owners are complaining about the ride in low rev. Any comments?

 

I havent driven a Gallardo at speed before but have seen the factory videos of the pushing the Aventador at speed. I still feel the rear stepping out in corners but not my car so didnt explore the limits. How do you think it compares to your GTO?

 

oh yes , forgot my biggest gripe about the car. The low speed ride is very irritating. Jittery and short sharp rebounds. I can understand why some of the older drivers dont drive the car. Even on our smooth roads it is very tiring. It gets better when you go faster. I dont feel the sharp rebounds. Factory has revised Ohlins coming out this month to be fitted on the car. Should address the issue a bit.

The auto mode is a joke. Gears constantly clanking away with a jerk when shifting. Using manual mode is a must in this car. Strada mode is the quietest and smoothest.
Sport is my preferred mode while Corsa (race) is best left to the track . The shock of the gears shifting in Corsa is very noticeable. I think it upsets the chasis a bit too.

they have changed the stock suspension to "soft" for the local market ...

gearshift in corsa depends upon the amount of pain u r prepared to endure ... but i loved it ...

Mmmm must testdrive this bugger one of these days. Even our friend, a 30+ chap cannot tahan the rough ride & sold it.

My take is that we have too little roads & a jailhouse rock to enjoy this car. It's like having a 700hp car with one of those SAF limiter @ 90km/h

 

Spot on. Our roads cum multiple speed traps are only suited to the 308's power .
