While you do need inlet on the front for the cockpit I hope that's not the solution.

So 27th December came and went. No announcement. Tumble weed blowing past the windows. Any definitive news on when the fabled announcement will come? I am starting to suffer from build up fatigue...

January 14th and 15th are Media Days at the Detroit Auto Show. I still highly doubt they'd use that venue to reveal the car, but there's always a chance. Otherwise it could happen at any point between then and Geneva in early March. They will not miss having that car on display in Geneva this year - I just can't fathom that - especially with McLaren preparing to show the production version of P1 there.

Ferrari could release press photos with shown design (without specs) in late January, and actual car could be presented in March.
Im wondering are we going to see F70 & P1 on same show with full specs revealed in same time?

Does anyone knows what "type" of KERS will be installed of F70? With flywheel or with batteries?

Bill, with your ownership history, many could take this as insider knowledge. ;)

I am pretty close to betting money that the reflection from an edge on the front on the teaser pictures is actually the top edge of an outlet and not an inlet . I think it will have one big outlet divided in the middle by a plane that may be even movable.

No, just being hopeful. ;) It would be nice to have those bragging rights and to show off at high speed events.

I'm surprised tire info for the F70 hasn't leaked from one of the tire manufacturers.

I see where you are coming from.
Had same thought myself looking at the mule.
Besides, looking at the ferrari Arya I see similarities with the bonnet outlets looking like intakes from some angles and don't see why they would have different positions with the mule.

I think it was covered in this thread somewhere but any more speculation in respect of price?

Would $1.75mil be totally over the top, just a guess based on the fact that Enzo's seem to be advertised at "around" the $1mil mark.

If they can sell Veyrons at that price with Bugatti's distinct lack of continuous and any recent history (and tenuous-at-best ties to it's past), I see no reason an even more advanced Ferrari with it's continuous and on-going history and mystique couldn't do it....

With the P1, F150 and 918 all coming out and all arguably more advanced than the Veyron, I think VW is going to have a tough time selling the last 80 or so Veyrons they plan on making...

I afraid more about Mclaren and Porsche, it will be success if they will sell as many their hypercars as current Veyron production numbers,
Ferrari sell everything, Mclaren and Porsche will have huge problem to find enough buyers
