    I'd say they are one of the best production cars out of the box. You could literally buy one and take it straight to the track. In fact that is what I did the 2nd day of my first ownership of my first Elise years ago. There is always the potential to tweak to improve but even if you didn't, it's a superb track car. That is why I am on my 3rd.

    I am strongly considering an Evora as well - I'm addicted to Lotus.

    My daily transport this time of the year. Not very exciting but reliable and strong with the big 500 V8.
