December was a great month...2 F40's and a 288 GTO (all different owners).

The (new) owner of this F40 flew me out to inspect it this past summer before he made the purchase, and now that it is put away for the winter, we made the trip to do a full paint correction detail on it along with 4 other cars while we were there. Since we had so much work do perform in such a short period of time, we didn't have a lot of time for taking before photos. But, you still get to look at plenty of glossy after-shots!

The car turned out spectacular, and it will be ready to go come spring-time.

We have been traveling quite a bit for collections and groups of vehicles, so please feel free to get in touch if it's not convenient to get your car(s) to Ohio...Esoteric services are available worldwide.

Beautiful, as we have come to expect from Todd.

As a Q of curiosity, how does a taillight lens get to be so hazed/scratched over time?

Looks like an Ohio plate though...

Beautiful work. I was wondering whether the thin paint on the F40s would prevent polishing but obviously you have it figured out.

You only polish the clear coat over the carbon fiber ;), so is the same as polish the clear coat (laca o barniz ) or paint ;)

The reflectors I can understand... It's the law.. But the bumpers ? what is their purpose ?
I hope it's not for slow speed 3 mph impact, because I doubt they would do much difference... And I also doubt that any owner would really use the F40 on a daily basis to go shopping and parking on the street...

    Great work though !!!!!!!!!

P.S. Why don't all US F40 owners remove those bumpers for the original look as Enzo intended ? If I owned a F40 that's the first thing I would do... Like in the Porsche 993... Euro bumper

I must be one of few people who prefer the US bumpers...

    Great job!

Thank you! The lenses get scratched up the same way as the paint...improper washing and drying methods, wipe downs, etc. we can always restore a tremendous amount of clarity and color in these when polishing.

Thank you. This is a garage in the Midwest...very nice collection.

Thanks. To even measure cars like this requires the use of a $2,700 paint thickness gauge, and not many detailers have one. Yes, you have to be extremely careful with these cars, and know when to say when. Modern and responsible techniques are used to ensure minimal paint removal, and paint preservation is always a top priority. The delicate edges on these cars require the most care for sure...

The interior carbon on these should not be polished as they weren't designed to be glossy. If it were a different material like on the door panels of a Scuderia, then you would polish them the same way you would polish the painted exterior.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

    Thanks!

Perhaps not at that level, but a really impressive collection and facility for sure!
