I am surprised you say this (but delighted you do) because I thought it was only me that can see & appreciate that the rear dead-on view of the 25th shows a very aggressive machine with wide wheels, gun-slot rear light apertures and all those vents.

The silver car is 12085 and red car is 12818.

It was first registred in Monaco, where Gerhard Berger had an adress. I know that he owned an other Countach. If you can find the article about him...
We added the rear wing some years ago, the car had cover 34000 Km, 10000 with Gerhard.

He owned a QV, I have the article, but perhaps only as a printed scan.
It appeared in "Auto Revue" 10/1986, has him with his red/white QV on the front, the car was registred in Austria in Name of the family transportation company J.Berger with plates T825200 or T825209.

Without guaranteeing it, I do believe this is 12818 when owned by Gerhard in Monaco, in pre-wing guise.

I have another somewhere black & white image of Gerhard at Sant Agata with 12818 which was published in a Club magazine.

    He also owned an LM002.

Thanks a lot Joe, if you could find this black and white photo it'll be very nice, I'll send this one to my friend Mickaël the actual owner.

The rear view is one of the best views IMO. Looks damn sexy!! :)

The interior of 12691 looks immaculate! What's that sticker over the cigarette lighter? Is that the original factory "seal" when new?

Cigarette lighter tax seal, I suspect most dealers immediately ripped it out and threw it away during PDI so few survive.

Here you can see a brand new 1988 25th being tested by Paul Frere at the Sant Agata factory, and already the tax seal is coming loose. Little wonder most were gone before they were ever noticed.

Did that include the 88.5? I'm trying to figure which Alpine to install.

As Mike said, in basic terms, for the USA, the 88.5 has a cassette unit, and the 25th got the CD.

However I have noticed that in other markets (UK & Japan for example) 25th appear to have the cassette unit.

+1 on the 7273. The 25th was the first to have the cd ie one of the 7903 variants.

Any reasoning behind the steering wheel pad being trimmed in black vs matching color?
