    I have a 97 spider. Before I take it to the experts. I was curious if anyone has some input as to why I get a horrible shimey and shake in the steering wheel(front end) at and over 100 mph in two to 1.5 second intervals..Thanks...

    I had the same thing. It was a small leak on the steering rack. Check the steering fluid level. It was frustrating as the shake would only last a second then go away. It seemed so random.

    Steering racks also sometimes come unbolted! Definitely good to get it checked out.
