For me personally, the leaking of the design over the past months has really helped me warm up to this design, I am looking forward to more pictures!

Looks Ferrari-ish, not a bad thing.

Isn't that one of C&D renderings from a couple weeks or so ago, i.e. nothing new?

one of my close "designer pals" said the car has a lot of Marinara sauce in the design :D

I would agree with that assesment

I can see the attraction but still love the C6 over the drawings I've seen thus far.

If that's it, Chevy screwed the pooch on this one. It's horrible.

Did they steal the wheel pattern directly from McLaren?

In '87 I bought a new Corvette. I really liked it. But after a couple years it got a little ragged due to the interior material choices GM made.. things just wore quickly. At the time it was everything I wanted (and could afford).

I really want to be able to get back into a Corvette, but since then they have all had issues (for me) with either exterior looks or interior looks/quality.

I was hoping that finally GM had gotten it's act together and produce a world class vehicle with exterior design and interior design and build/material quality.... ( I had a new Cadillac CTS and was impressed with it, so I know GM IS capable).... BUT ... looks wise, this new "excercise" fails... at least all the spy shots and concept drawings. The sketches of the interior seem to be good, if based on my CTS experience. That CTS was the best most trouble free, fit and finish car I've ever owned from GM and even better tahn some high priced luxury imports from beyond the Atlantis or Pacific.

I'll hold my breath until the launch and hope that it's not a styling disaster.

Why can't we have the whole kit and caboodle? inside and out? I know therre is a price point issue GM has to deal with and a demographic of buyers.... They can do better if the really try. I'm getting ready to go awy from my F355, and my hope was that the new Vette would be a potential choice on my short list.... but as it stands, the looks of this one may have eliminated it for me .

I like that blue on the second one and the rear end is growing on me.

A week to go before the intro... Gotta imagine that official pics will leak within next few days.

Nah, if they haven't leaked until now, I doubt they'll leak until Sunday. At this point, I hope they don't.

I have a gut feeling we have already seen the car, and just don't realize it.

Corvette Museum event on Sunday; but I wont be in downtown for it this time. There will be tons of media and VIP's... so there aren't likely to be many good images out of it... unless you are a pushy photog. Newspaper photogs are pushy lol

I prefer the passive technique. Up close and personal at a moment's notice!
