Haha, +1. So true though, look at the official's son in a 599 who died in a crash as a result of a high speed sex game (???!?!?!) Something like that, lot's of crazy F-stories from that country. No offence to any Chinese F-owners in here btw.

Hey guys.... this title is highly inflamatory. It's a freakin' little fender bender that could happen anywhere in any country.

I expected to see blood on the freeway from this title. It's a bit insulting.

It should be "crash" in quotation marks. :)

    I believe it was a 458 Spider.

The media did report that, at the scene of the accident, the driver of the car was fully naked and the two female passengers were partially naked. It wasn't a typical drunk-driving incident.

Who said anything about Singapore being in China?

+1 to you. Sorry if it was Singapore. Still, it was freak accident and NOT a regular DUI. No need to attempt and mock my education either. What the f*** does reading the news (something you obviously don't do much, because the freakishness of this accident was one of the reasons it went viral) have to do with graduating high school?

A crash is a crash ;) "China seems to be a real hotspot for crashes at the moment, the latest is this Ferrari F12 Berlinetta." Place your dismay at GTspirit (or Autoblog, whoever wrote it) for hatin' on China. :p

Auto blog didn't post it on Fchat.

I'm really tired of the culture bashing. We are supposed to be car enthusiasts, not judges of others culturals.

"First crash"--Interesting. "Guess where" is an unneeded slap.

    Unfortunately can't argue this.
Although most terrible US drivers tend to drive average cars (SUVs,minivans, compacts).

You're entitled to your opinion and I respect you for conveying it in a composed manner. However I'm also entitled to mine, and I don't believe I've slapped or bashed any cultures here. I'm sure lot's of people with think of different places, and not just China. As I've said previously, I didn't intend to offend anyone.

If it really bugs you, send the admin a mail and make him change the title. :)

I find nothing "insulting" nor insinuating in regards to the manner in which the title is written...could have happened anywhere or with any race of driver...I was thinking a rapper/celebrity in the U.S.....Eddie Griffen maybe.....Mark

Maybe we should post "guess what sex?" (aka implying a woman driver) or "guess what race?" or "guess what age?" (aka someone very young or very old)

The answer to this question posted was clearly "China--duh" and then the usual China bashing occurs.

It's a car crash. It's unfortunate but picking on people's misfortune just isn't cool.

I wouldn't even call this a crash. Fender benders like these only happen 10,000 times a day somewhere. I seriously doubt this is "the first". The car has been in Europe for months.

I don't think this car has been sold to China yet. I suspect it's a dealer demo.

Being that there 107 MILLION car drivers in China & THOUSANDS of different cultures from all over the world, to only assume the driver is/was Chinese is narrow-minded, as ANYONE could have been involved in this accident....could have been Eddie Griffen.....Mark

Tbh, maybe you need to think about culture bashing. For me, China was not the obvious answer, there are plenty of places this could happen. And towards you remark on "the usual China bashing" - I must have clearly missed something, because I've never witnessed this. It seems that you are one of the very few who is actually insulted (Can I say that?). If whenever someone writes "Guess where?" you firmly believe it's China maybe you need to think about what you're thinking and saying. Because to me now, it almost appears as if you're the one mocking, because you constantly say I'm bashing the Chinese culture and writing in a manner suggesting it applies to all in this thread, when we frankly, aren't. Please show me where I "bash" the Chinese culture.

With regards to using the word crash. The Dictionary is your answer, and Google is your friend. :) I understand that from you POV it might be a question of principle, but there is honestly no need for an issue regarding this, IMO.

The title to me sounded like a rhetorical question. Which implies that it's no suprise that the first F12 crash is in China. Since this wasn't a crash but a simple fender bender the whole thread is misleading.

    Oh, please.

    Can we agree on something?

If someone here bashed Norway's driving abilities or culture, we would say that's probably uncalled for. It's a car enthusiast site, not a political forum or way to make jokes about a culture.

If someone did the same for China or Russia or Japan or Argentina or the South Pole, we probably old say the same, right?

    I would hope so. :)

Russia may be a good example - driving in russia is dangerous ... and that example has nothing to do with culture bashing!
Streets are in very bad condition, traffic rules intend to be only indicative and so on ... there are more deadly "supercar" accidents in moscow than anywhere else.
But you can't refere this case to driving disability.
