I guess simple question would be who is good for the community overall by their actions and behavior? Thanks. FerrariChat.com Ambassadors of the Year 2011: stokpro 2010: Jedi
Hope I did this right...... I'll begin by nominating Tax Dr, a New Jersey native who has owned some of the greatest Ferraris of the modern era, including his current stable of an Enzo, 599 GTO and 458 Spider. Rich dedicates himself to the community, as anytime there's a charity event or cause in the tri-state area, you'll find Tax Dr and his Ferraris in attendance. His passion for Ferraris and his background inspires many young enthusiasts around here (myself included), and he makes sure that he gives as many rides to enthusiasts as he possibly can. He can set an example for Ferrari owners too, as he daily drives his Ferraris as much as possible. He spends most of his time on F-chat in the NY tri-state forum, so if you haven't seen the thread that "started it all," you might be interested in this: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221275
hmm, I'm mixed about that, all mods receive a Lifetime Rossa already. I'm open to suggestions, but think it should be for the regular membership.
Yes on Bernardo (gotta love the photos he finds!) but also Steve Magnusson should be highly considered. Truly both are assets here.
Understood. But the community is/was predicated on Ferraris, no? And of the (active) users on the list, Marcel's contributions are almost always Ferrari-related, and informative.
yes, but I wouldn't call Marcel an ambassador of FerrariChat. I think he's succumb to FerrariChat as the new way of the world and for commercial and information reasons he needs to stay connected, but I think like many of those in his business he laments FerrariChat's efficient exchange of information replacing the old business of inefficient Ferrari information arbitrage. He hasn't posted since last March and logged on since June. you do 100x more for FChat than Marcel.
+1 Though I maybe biased in the Canadian side for Bernie more Fchat is a better place because both of these great men visit here often.
Just my 2 cents as the "first one" on the list (and I've always felt honored by that, BTW)... The Mayor... nee Bdelp Bob is a big part of the essence of this place. Jedi
I could go with that one as well... Jerry is also a big part of the fabric of F-Chat. But dangit, so are YOU, CHAS..... and DARTH. and DAWG. How to decide? I'm a relative newbie here - 2008 or so. Some of these folks have been, to me, a big part of the essence of F-Chat - ambassadors in their own right in the sense they are engaging and insightful. But they don't talk about cars a whole not... Neither do I.... and it IS a car site.... hmmmmmm Jedi
