    Dear Ferraristi,

Well...this was a letdown. I was expecting a pix of some hot chick or something... :D

I can't remember which servo controls the flap. Send Jimbo a pmail. He has a evap unit sitting in his fabulous garage/work shop. He'll be able to tell you exactly which vacuum control it is.

    Dear Ferraristi,

Oh...you mean which control on the dash...

Push the defrost button...the vent will automatically adjust to the dash vents. If it doesn't then the vacuum control for the vent isn't working.

    hmm....still no hot chicks pix...huh? :D

    Dear Ferraristi,

    valve...what valve....what are we...Blonde!....talking about again... :D

Oh the heater valve is in the bottom of the passenger compartment just behind the kickplate. You will see the heater hose come from the center column to the heater valve and on to the heater heater core and back out.

    ...hahaha....on the "blue dress" :D

    I have a Blue Lamborghini that matches that dress....white interior....sooooo.... :D

Last I heard - Shamile was more focused on the dark side (Lambo).

Shamile - you are missed! Come back & bring your friends!

These F-Car posts can get so boring... ;-)

Unfortunately Shamile left us for another "FERRARI" site - something about a "LIFE" ;) change. He was basically tired of being beat on by a certain few that disagreed with some of his postings in other areas on FChat. That other site is not near as active nor informative as the TR section here.

Definitely a shame--using his TR as a DD he had been through many issues that are still ahead of many of us, and always covered the issue/repair/alternatives well. I'm Silver subscribed only so I can post photos in the technical thread. I look at the treads occasionally and have probably responded to one or two in 1.5 years. I find many of the discussions there are a complete waste of time, many just bizarre why anyone would want to discuss in an open forum with strangers, but that's just me--not a real social media guy. I see the value for some, just not me.

Pitty also for a lot of us, for me he was an expert on many little and big issues ... I myself learnt a lot of Shamile my first years a an owner ....

Shame he was tackled too much ...

I too think its a shame. I have a great deal of respect for Shamile. He was always informative and always paid attention to detail. I miss him. Come on Shamile. Come back. Just stay in the TR section. No one will disrespect you here. You have so much knowledge and your always hands on. Please!!!

I remember VERY CLEARLY the "Witch Hunt Thread" that caused the impetus for Shamile's self issued departure. A Dark moment/s on FC that the principles involved in the Witch Hunt were allowed such free reign to slander, smear, cast unwarranted allegations.....Mark

Shamille is still working it. He recently did a repair on his driver side mirror that was snapped off outside a club by someone(s) with no respect for the TR. He did a very comprehensive coverage of his repair - and had his usual "assistants" in attendance...

Not much else going on over there. But I check in once in a while.

I was hoping Shamile was posting again... I scrolled up on this thread and saw his light Green light on but no reply to this thread. :(

    Mel,

I did just that last night and gave him the link to this thread. Probably why Haig saw his "Green light" on. He thanked me for the link but confirms he is just "DONE" with FChat due to all the non-owners and trolls turning some of the site into some form of social media instead of a car forum. I suggested he come back and just hang out here to learn and share knowledge about the TR. Maybe in time he will come back...

    Check you PM.

    Curtis
