Really dumb question on how to raise my 360!

    I know this is going to sound really dumb, and yes, I already did a search and looked in the owner's manual, and still need help (argh!).

    My wife got me a new floor jack for X-mas. I crawled under the sides of my 360 and couldn't seem to locate exactly where the jacking points are as shown in the owner's manual.

    Can someone please tell me what to look for? Is there a specific indicator where to position the jack like on my C6 Corvette and NSX?

    Does anyone use any extra pad or other device to prevent scratching the bottom of the car? I use Hockey Pucks to life my C6 Corvette and they work great!

    There are circular indentions (at the back) in the underside where you lift. Hockey pucks will work great.

    Okay, found the round indention on the rear but nothing on the front....

    Mellow...thanks a million for taking the photos and posting them for me!

    I can see the round spot on the rear but cannot see any markings that indicate where to position the jack on the front. Do you just put in that general area?

    If you lift at the rear jack point (I use a hockey puck) you can lift the entire side of the car.

    I was told anywhere on the front under that lip. My dealer put the lift point at the middle of the curve but he said anywhere up there is fine.

    Rob, this is a GOOD question man. Lots of good photos being posted so far. Even so, the front lift point seems to be a bit of a mystery (to me). I've never thought about hockey pucks, that's a pretty good idea for lifting. I believe I'll be making a stop at the sporting goods store on the way home....

    My 360 has a threaded insert located on the front that makes a good lift point. Don't thread a bolt into it, but with a rubber pad to protect it ... a hockey puck for example. .. it is exactly at at an optimum point to lift.

    As another had said, you can lift the entire side of the car using the rear lift point only. You will be challenged, however, if you want to put the car on jack stands as there are few support locations at the rear unless you remove the rear wheel or the belly pan before using your floor jack.

    Checked with my Ferrari mechanic today and you are right! The rear "circle" lifting point is the exact center of the car by weight. The engine weighs more so the center is further back. You lift from the rear lifting point only to raise the entire side of the car. Interesting....had no clue!

    I'd like to thank everyone for the replies and pics as well.

    Was going to have the local Discount Tire mount and balance a new set of tires but didnt feel comfortable with them NOT nicking (US english meaning, not the Queens english, lol) the CCB's. Not an issue anymore really as I'm just going to have Pensky Wynn Ferrari do it. lol

    The FWM (M 2.12) indicates where to lift the front; see Page 48 on the attached document. You might want to look at the actual page in the manual, as the attached copy is poor quality.

    Thanks for the pics and the FWM info! I was wondering how to lift the car. Hope it is not sensitive like the TR (if you don't jack it up evenly you can break the rear glass). No problem when using the lift but if you get a flat....

    From the rear jacking point, I've lifted one side high enough to get an 8" block under the rear tire; have not observed any problems.

    I have a Mohawk lift and I usuall use 4"x4" squares of 1/2" rubber under my other cars lift points (BMW and Porsche), it looks to me like I should get a couple hockey pucks for the rear of my 360.. Thanks for the pics!
