    Thanks for that, red/tan?

You know, Ron Kimball had a deal where he would photograph many of the new 25ths that came in through the West Coast distributor so he has some really neat image libraries of brand new 25ths. Possible he may have photographed yours when new

Raymond, if you read Graeme's text carefully, you can see all he is saying is that the Enzo driver had limited ability, versus his significant ability. That's all. Anyone knows that given equal drivers any Enzo will blow away any Countach on any track. The point doesn't even need to be argued or demonstrated.

Whats more interesting is that many 25th drivers are willing to use the cars to the extreme, because they are robust & reliable compared to the earlier cars, and they handle well.

Here is a gentleman from the Northeast USA blazing his 25th on the track. If memory serves me, besides much track duty, this car has been driven clear across the USA & back too.

Exactly, your point (which is the same one Graeme was making) is well-taken.

Here is another yellow 25th with brakes that would make anyone happy!

I'm not sure what brake mods (if any) this gentleman has performed, but this 25th has logged many high-speed miles in rallies such as the Adelaide Classic in Australia.

Any car can be made to stop better if you really want. From rebuilding the existing system better to completely modifying it, the possibilities are endless, and its all a question of money.

I do remember Portman's Sakes Director (Mike Perry) stating that 65 or 66 RHD cars were built for the UK (I'm stating this purely from memory of an article in which he was quoted), so I think you are on the mark or close to it.

One of the prints that I've always liked is this one from David Kimble. The problem is it was too small. this one is 8" x 10" that I had framed a couple years ago.

Today I finally located are larger version of the print (it's 36" x 24"), plus its signed by David as well. So, I just ordered it!!! I can't wait to get it and have it framed. :)

Thanks for sharing, pretty spectacular, I love my 288 GTO & F40 Kimble prints, but nothing available for the 25th!

All that exists are some works-related blueprints & line-drawings which were used in publications, nothing three-dimensional like Kimble did.

Its tough keeping their names straight because all three of the guys that did prints, photos and drawings for the Countach, have their names so similar to one another!!

We've got Kimble, Kimball and Caudle!!! LOL!

I think the reason I like the Kimble cut-away so much, is that its so close to mine (that being, fuel injected version, same exterior and interior color). He even drew it with the ugly front USA bumper too! hahahaha....

    Joe,

Do you know if the US spec cars actually made it here and than got shipped back? Or did some US cars never made it to the US and stayed in EU? It seems based on the values of the Countach from just a few years ago, it would not make much sense to send a US out of the US...

Its not one of the 45 RHD's I'm aware of.

G526 UYF (KLA12763) is black/cream with black piping is the nearest I have to that registration.

It could have cause by re-registered since on a different plate - that's quite difficult to track.

    Any ideas ?

Indeed, I am only speaking of US cars that have been exported abroad after being delivered in the USA.

Yes, you are right, for the past few years it has made great sense to buy a 25th in the USA and take it to Europe. Cars I am familiar with have gone to Europe, Asia, Africa, New Zealand & South America.

Here is an ex-USA car now in Holland.
