My 308 GT4 was originally Rosso Bordeax (20-R-351), although it was later repainted to Red/Black boxer. I don't have a pic of the GT4 in that color, unfortunately. Would love to see one. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was a regular factory color...Bluemel just forgot to list it in his book. According to a conversation I had with FNA a few years back, their records show 32 total GT4s produced in Avorio Safari. This includes both cars with and without the Boxer two-tone finish. All of the photos of Avorio cars I've seen with the exception of mine have the Boxer finish, but that doesn't mean much.
I have one also. When Ferrari first went online you could provide them with the chassis #, engine #, and tranny # and eventually they emailed you this certificate.

Oh man getting hear palpitations just looking at that pic! I lost my Euro 1976 Dino308 GT4 to hurricane Sandy, had it for 28 years. Mine was Red . First one I ever saw was white with red interior, I was hooked! As much as I liked the Dino, I'm trying something different this time around, currently shopping for a 328 in NY. Stefano

The quality of light seems to have a big affect on this colour. Here's a pic when the colour appears darker and a pic of dino blu from http://www.dinouk.com/technical_colours_ferrari.html.
