Normally I am not a fan of wood paneling, but it looks terrific in there!

Thanks for all the great comments..

Only thing I am struggling with is what to do with Floor..its Virgin cement, only parked the car on it once for that pic..Dont think Race deck goes with that wood, scared of epoxy because this floor is on grade..actually leaning towards rusty metal plate tiles with a matte clear coat..dont know what else would look right...maybe off white porcelin...???

BTW...No Garage should be without a Key Rack!!!!

Very nice. How about stained and polished concrete? I think it would look great!

Of what pictures I have seen...I think that polished concrete has a cloud like effect, and usually topped off with shiny clear coat...doesn't do it for me..
    Need Rustic finish...

I did see something unique..it was reclaimed vintage 4" by 4" grey pine posts cut into 1/2 inch by 4X4 tiles and cemented down total floor coverage and polycoated over...
Had a unique look, Pine used to be a hardwood, now its rapid processed..I wish I could get a reclaimed 1/4 sawn oak wood floor cut length wise to 1/2 inch planks, and just leave natural..or bleached and oiled...

the answer will just hit me one day!

Sounds like the floor of the caisson room at the Ft Myer stables. They cut down the old hitching posts from all over the base to use for the floor. Who says the military isn't green? ;)

Agree. I think a stain with a marbled look would look great!
