THE F70 (LaFerrari) Thread

This is the "F70" (F150) thread, debating Lamborghini's greatness vs Ferrari's greatness should be done elsewhere.

 

Excellent, up to this point none of my friends have seen (a) the functioning car.

 

Yes I agree that the 918 is the current VAG Hypercar. The Audi R20 will be the next one and IMO will be quite something.

 

Looking at the Geneva show web site it seems to be indicating that the F70 will be there

From what I hear on very good authority, first customers see it early March. No Geneva launch, this is not a commercial car in their view.

 

Whoever said that wasn't thinking with their head. Ferrari might not need to market them to sell them, but the whole point of a Halo Car is chest pumping and you can bet they won't miss an opportunity to do that on a world stage in front of all the flashing cameras so they can snag some magazine covers and get some posters on the teenager's bedroom wall or a background on their iPad.

Not putting them out on a world stage actually makes them even more exclusive, keeps the mystery, heightens the interest ...

Anybody cares that LdM said the car will be unveiled to the public on February?

Not to the customers but the public, which excludes a Geneve debut.

 

The car will be presented in Maranello in February. Pictures and specifications will be released on February. The car will be at Geneva in March for its first public appearence.

 

That sounds about right

 

We can debate this endlessly, but I am assured not at Geneva. Let's wait and see when we get something definitive so as to avoid endless back and forth.

 

I won't be in Geneva so the thing that excites me the most is we will see pics in Febrary woo hoo!!

 

why showing pictures next month and not expose the car in geneva ?it's a nonsense.

 

Ferrari always shows its cars on the internet first and then on auto shows.
