Does anybody know this car ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would sure help to know the license number. Do you know which country it is in? I have a couple of GTEs the horns on the carbs, but none in silver. Silver valve covers are unusual as well.
A really sad attempt to convert a production car to represent the first prototype destroyed in an accident years and years ago. Best wishes, Kare
Anybody else out there with a GTE that wants to step up? This has been a terrific thread that has brought me up to date with a bunch of GTEs that had been off the radar for some time. Feel free to PM me or post here so we can know how many GTEs are still alive.
2915GT with me. Went through a lot of mechanical differed maintenance and will attend some cosmetics soon. Ultimately may do a full PB restoration as I love those cars and they deserve it,,,but spot currently used by the GTB, so will keep it on the road even if not perfect.
Here's one that still survives in Japan. Don't know the serial number but it is a recent pic. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login
I share your opinion according my information car is in Prague and still original but in list there is that is conv to GTO..
That is a beautiful car. Great color for a GTE. There is a collector here in Brazil that owns replicas of a GTO and a pontoon TR. Initials S.H. Does anyone know if these cars were converted from GTE's? Here are a few links to pictures: "GTO" https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xsh3sV2C9Ik/S7a6IIvtl0I/AAAAAAAAAgc/eaexZ-ACTM8/s714/IMG_4802.JPG https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-pcIpG0Uldhw/S7a6R-_5U2I/AAAAAAAAAhQ/RrZimig0oK8/s714/IMG_4814.JPG "TR" https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-w_Y_0H_ubic/S7a6UI1zB-I/AAAAAAAAAhY/zIUxTVpEhlE/s714/IMG_4816.JPG https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-VZ-jansrMrg/S7a66Tm3vnI/AAAAAAAAAkA/Zi2sb51qJc0/s714/IMG_4857.JPG (bad pic but maybe the plate can help...)
I agree with Kerry, it is still a GTE. I do not have any Testa Rossa replicas listed in the GTE Register that are in Brazil. Hopefully this is not another lost GTE that we didn't know about. I am very interested in the Gray Japanese car, though. Don't have that one either. Can you PM me the license number? That may help.
I shared the picture as I found it. I can send you a link and you can try contacting the photographer - he does speak English. >8^) ER
How about these two? Detail - 250 GTE s/n 4831GT Detail - 250 GTE 3357GT Any info where they are today?
I have the motor from 4831 GT now with 250 GT/L s/n 4563. Location of the car itself is completely unknown to me.
I have the engine from 4831 GT in the lusso as early as 1978 and no further information on the Body/Chassis, so that one is probably gone. 3357 GT was a complete car when I last heard of it, but that was 1979. Hopefully it is in someone's garage, just waiting for the right moment to show itself to the world.
It looks to be a beautiful matching numbers example. See here: 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE Coupe at Hexagon Classics Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
