Yes, and why show the chassis in Paris and then not show the complete car when ready at what is arguably the most important motor show for a car like this? Makes zero sense, that logic. If the reveal it publicly in February it will be in Geneva.

...and speaking of showing the F70/F150 tub in Paris, do you really think Ferrari would have shown an unfinished car in Paris if McLaren weren't there unveiling the P1? I certainly think that played a huge factor in their decision. For the same reason, Ferrari won't miss displaying the complete car at Geneva because McLaren have made it quite clear they will reveal the P1 in full production form at the show.

There is an article on German Auto Motor und Sport that supposedly says (Google Translated) that they will definitely present the car in February and that it will have more than 950 bhp...
He also talks about the California saying that there will be more derivatives of it.

Does anyone have a good translator or speaks German and can help translate this article?

    Thanks

That's all it says. That and that there will never be four door Ferraris or SUVs. There's Maserati for that.

NO, this has been covered many times. A very, very nice render but not IT. I understand this is a looong thread to keep up with but then again you can't be blamed much... in the current state of hype, there go Ferrari adding this picture to their Facebook, this might confuse like half of the millions of people who are waiting for leaks or official releases. Expect more confusion yet about the Wizzoo7 render.

Ferrari will remain a manufacturer of 2 door sports cars only. No Ferrari SUV, because SUVs do not inspire emotion and Ferraris are supposed to be about performance and the enjoyment of driving (fast). Also no 4 door model. Such cars (SUVs and 4 door cars) could be made by Maserati, because "they can think about such things differently than us (Ferrari). They could make 4 door cars and SUVs."

He hinted at variations of the California (like 4 seater). 70% of all Cali owners are first time Ferrari owners.

That and what was posted above is pretty much the core of the article.

I think that Ferrari will put huge effort in R&D of California successor. That car attracted a bunch of new customers to Ferrari.

    1980 Ferrari Pinin Concept

The prototype was created at Pininfarina's studio, on a donor Ferrari 400GT chassis. The car included a mock-up flat 12, mated to the shell of a five-speed manual gearbox. The car was unveiled by Sergio Pininfarina at the 1980 Turin Auto Show.[3]
Enzo Ferrari was so impressed, that he discussed turning the design into a production vehicle. But after the car had undertaken a tour of that years motorshows, and after feedback from a customer tour in the United States, in the mid-1980s it was sold to Jacques Swaters, a Belgian racing driver turned businessman and car collector who ran a prominent privateer Ferrari endurance and sportscar racing team.[3] Fioravanti later speculated that Ferrari's resistance to producing the car was due to the production quality of any resultant vehicle, where by "faults" were accepted on sporting cars, but that with the Pinin Ferrari would have been competing against the quality of experienced production manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and even Rolls-Royce.

With the current FIAT management we're lucky they don't put a Ferrari Emblem on a Chrysler 300 and declare it the new Enzo

No they didn't. That's a Pinin Farina concept car. Nothing to do with the official Ferrari.
