    Good eye Steve!

I know of a RS w/ factory stripe CS that was wrecked not too long ago and totaled by insurance carrier. Looks like it could be the same car. I have the VIN and will confirm if and when it is posted on Copart.

I have bought 3 Ferrari from the US in the past 4 years and it is not as bad as one may assume with the paperwork issue.
If I could not find a CS that I wanted to purchase in Canada, I would not hesitate to buy one from the US and import it into Canada.

Just keep in mind that there are 10x more Ferrari (better selection) in the US than Canada because your population is 10 fold to ours.

I found a company that deals with the exporting and importing of cars into the USA and Canada. One of the issues is the instrument cluster. Converting from metric to standard is costly.

You won't need to, it's a US-spec car and speedo etc are all good as is... Just one of the many things you can learn from a simple phone call.

Yes, you are right with that particular car. I did speak with them. I believe the car is sold. Engine was replaced. Not sure if original block and rebuilt or completely new engine. The dealership was very nice and answered all my questions. I was referring to importing as a whole.

That front splitter would kneecap a lizard! Awesome. Not sure about the splitter and wing but it is a CS and those owners can tend toward the eccentric side ;)

Thanks, I'll post it here if a CS pops up on Copart or IAAI.

LOL...I wonder if GEICO would cover that. :D

SOLD!! What a beautiful nero CS. Surprised it didn't sell sooner even with the 'mark'. I've always maintained that had the engine been swapped prior to leaving the factory no one would know and it wouldn't be any different of a scenario. However, the fact that's known gives it a bit of a mark, but IMHO years down the road it's not going to matter. The way I look at it, it's a great car with a new engine. Congrats to the new owner!

Great shot Stokpro! I actually kinda like that "GT3" CS. If I were rich, I'd buy that car to take to track days.

Thanks but I can't take credit. That CS group shot was taken by Fchatter atomic80.

Oh yeh!! It could use some exercise. If I can find the keys I'm going to take it out for a spin this weekend. Need to do a full "Fiat" photoshoot.
