Can anyone please confirm the correct position for the ECU's on this car. We are currently rebuilding 84326 which in not a strict LM but modified by by race teams to LM spec and think the correct position is behind where the passenger seat would be, fixed on the engine bulkhead just by the door, the wiring going back through where gearbox linkage etc runs?

Makes sense it would be in this position as the car would not race with a passenger seat and thus it would be easily accessible.

Any help would be much appreciated.

On Street Cars the Loom goes through the Chassis near the two Waterpipes.
Left Bank ECU behind Driver on Firewall , RHD ECU as the one in the pic at the Firewall.

Hope this may help, even not especially LM Spec.

Thanks, but I think it is different in the LM for easy access and swapping out.

When I bought 88779, as my project was to run this car, what I was doing in fact, I requested the team in charge to prepare it to move the ECU from its "normal" location (on the back panel in front of the engine) to put it under the additionnal seat I was requesting, it was done without any difficulties and I was able to drive my car (including data acquisition) without any problems, just my 2cents!

Thanks for that. Could you also tell me, does your car have adjustable boost and if so where is the control mounted?

Tim, I sent you a PM, but check also the F40 LM GTE thread, there is a lot of pics of my ex car showing the full interior.

    Hey Tim,
Speaking of how things are mounted and routed, can you post a pic of your front brake set up so I can see how you routed the brake cable from the master to the caliper? I assume you have the same calipers that I have that take the banjo fitting instead of the fitting the stock calipers use.
