    Can you say "well and truly ugly?" I knew you could...

    If you were going to do a hood bulge you would think that one would try to shape it to be integral and in concert with the design of the car you were putting it on. The Espada is all planes and angles and that bulge looks more like a cancerous growth than something that should be on that car.

    Properly done and in style with the car, they could have pulled it off, but that's just a sad butcher job with no thought of styling or design. The sad part is the Espada is one of my favorite designs, seeing that made me feel really sad. A Chevy motor that fit under the hood would have been a better result, IMHO.

    I understand they needed to make room for the carbs, but there is no excuse for that.
