IIRC, there was some discussion surrounding this car a few months back. Basic assumption was that it would take over 100k in work?

Jim, I think this car is in Florida being offered @ 295,000!! If you notice on that ready to fix website they try to lure you in to subscribing that car was probably sold a year ago. What do you think same car? I can't post a direct link but check under Ferrari. www.ecocar.com

I noticed the car this morning!
Allow $35K for the front clip alone. And like all the cars on that site,
"doesn't crank, we don't know why." LOL!

It doesn't note "salvage" title, unless all these insurance settlement cars mean that?

Nice 456 "theft recovery" on the same site. I wouldn't buy one of those soggy "flood cars", it's hard to get that smell out!

Don't ask me how I know!

Don't think it's the same vehicle, unless it's BEFORE and AFTER shots.

I'm sure there were many yellow F40s, out of a production run of over 1050.

There could be, but they were only sold in red... meaning custom paint. (?) Maybe if they paid more like with the Enzo, but only red was my understanding.

hmm good catch. the ecocar F40 has had front end work if you look at the groove around the front clip it doesn't have the black line as does the door area. prob same care. the black 355 they have was also wrecked. found a pic of it somewhere else and he can't sell that thing to save his life. of course he is asking $85K for a wrecked 355. nuts.

You can get an F40 is perfect condition with higher miles for $295k. I wouldnt pay more than $190 or so for this IF everything else is in perfect condition

I might be naaive, but from looking at that picture, it doesn't look like there is any major damage.

Is there anything underneath that headlight assembly of any significant expense? I know, everything on a Ferrari is "significant expense."

    :)

Refering to the cars which left the factory, they were not all red there were a number of special orders(7 in total I have been told) 1 for sure which was a "brownish" colour and was R.H.D. this car had a full interior with leather A/C and electric windows it was ordered for the Sultan of Brunai, this particular car was up for sale in the U.K. earlier this year (in Talacrest) for £250k
    Best regards
