What is a fair price to pay for a F430 F1 coupe? How much more should I pay for ceramic brakes if I can find one that has them? How much does each year add to the price? Is a 2005 just as good as a 2008?
Anything I should be aware of or look for during my search? I want to start looking this week and don't know where to start. Budget is $150,000. mileage under 10,000.

    Thank you so much

    My car is for sale.

07 F1 F430 coupe. There is a thread in the section for it. Asking 149,900. Car is perfect. All service history, records, etc.

Hahahaa. That extra $100 will get him far.

In all serious take a look at the car. It just clocked over 10k miles, but it will check all the boxes any potential F car buyer would want.

Many threads on this but here are some of my opinions.
I have an 05 spider and there is very little difference between 05 to 08.
For me it was not worth the $ to get an 08.
Ceramic brakes are unnecessary and as a $15k option, just adds to the sale price.
With 05-06, make sure exhaust manifolds were addressed.

    Good luck on your hunt!

What should I be aware of with the exhaust manifolds?

James - as noted almost every question has been asked before and there's a multitude of threads covering most of them - try looking thro' some either by scrolling down or using the search function

You can safely skip the 360/430s. Save up for a 458.

Your free advice is worthless considering that you ignore it yourself.

Yes, but I'm not after advice about buying a 430. Any way, being honest you make me chuckle (most of the time)!
In all seriousness, considering the 430 is universally regarded as a great car, even by drivers who have moved to 458's, I really don't understand your views. To re-iterate others thoughts, perhaps you have a major problem with yours that needs dealer time. Not everyone can be wrong, perhaps some seat time in another 430 would help isolate the problem.

Not knowing the specifics about the car. So many variables.
    Just an estimate.

The prices I came up are as follows: The average ASKING prices for F430 berlinetta's with under 10,000 miles.

    2005 133,800
    2006 141,200
    2007 144,600
    2008 161,000

Again asking prices. You can probably get $3000 - $10,000 off during negotiations depending on many factors (tires, brakes, paint, clutch, history and options) Thats the fun part. Then add cost for PPI and transport if needed.

Yep this is pretty accurate... I think most sellers including myself are realistic in pricing and aren't too far off from numbers.
