People that are buying them? What are they doing? Parting them out or fixing them up?

Yep, here's another that applies to: Copart

Both appear to be the result of impact with a relatively narrow but solid object (e.g. a bollard).

Can you say "crumple zone". If the driver lived, it was from the aluminum front crumple substructure and airbags. If not, RIP.

What a mess. I did that once, just once (in a Porsche 914).

No blood splatter on the interior. Let's hope the driver walked away with a headache and face burn from the airbag deployment.

What are the odds you can pick one of these up for cheap and they just need to be flushed with fluids and cleared out for a couple grand, and its good to go? Some of these look like they just got off the show room floor! How much damage can there be!

I would love to do this with a 911 but getting them into Australia is beyond impossible.

Toast electronics / hydro locked motor = toast car.

Imo... the best would be to purchase one car in a heavy cosmetic accident and one flooded car. Transfer the whole interior, electronics, motor etc from the crashed car into the minty flooded chassis (obviously stripping in and giving it a thorough cleaning) and now you have a perfect Ferrari, minus branded title, lol.

The issue with Flood is salt water

Salt Water will destroy electronics, seals and metals. It's just a matter of time.
Even if there is no visible damage

The bad thing is that some of those cars (flooded) can be bought, then have a new "clean" title in some states

    Be very carefull
