In preparation for a track day organized by my Ferrari dealer, I'd like to upgrade my super soft spider springs which are in my mechanics opinion the number 1 must have performance upgrade for the standard F430.

    So here are the options:

    1. AFCO #400 and #600, 10" length front and back, linear load rate. ($300)

    2. Scuderia Red Springs, slightly shorter than stock, also feature a linear load rate, but I see many people complaining about how stiff they are for street use. (600$)

    3. H&R Springs, 9" length, drops the car 1.2" front and 0.8" rear which is IMO too much from a practicality point of view, these feature a progressive load rate. ($500)

    4. GMG Springs, very little info about them, 10" length, manufacturer claims they are 15% to 40% (progressive) stiffer depending on compression rate. ($800)

So which set do you guys recommend? Anyone here using the GMG set which is originally manufactured by Ebach?

    Thank you.

Out of this list I recommend afco. I had gmg and in my opinion were still to soft. I have a second set of Afco's for sale (500f, 650r) if you want them. Went with a stiffer setup because of the aggressive ride height.

Thanks for the info Aryan, I agree the front end was too low, perfect after the adjustment.

I'd really like to go with a stiffer setup, looks like AFCO is the way to go, my spider is already 220lb's heavier than a coupe so I hope am heading in the right direction.

I am running Swift 504lbs/in front and 614lbs./in rear on my modena and it balanced things out well. I have 6 inchers plus spacers, but 8 inch should be about right.
