malaysian Ferrari owners?

Huh, did I read right, over a car?

Of course bros. Photos are a must though I'll probably get lazy to edit & give up posting after a while We'll do 1200km of Italy north-west from Milan to Tuscany then Rome & back to St Agata, Bologna. Will then take on my classic car preferably the Jag E type roadster then visit the coastal towns of Italy like lake Como (Villa d'Este concourso), Portofino then maybe Monaco (G.Prix weekend) not sure if I want to wait for Mille Miglia & then do the Route Napolean starting from Cannes through the mountains. Will just see what the roads take me to as I have not planned anything yet.

If anybody wants to join, it'll be nice to have company.

This must be the most bitter news I've heard & feel sad for them cos I'm quite happy to share some of my cars with fellow "bros" who are kakis & even let them take home, what more about blood brothers?!

 

well it's a little bit more complicated than that......it wasn't just about the car to be honest...there was a lengthy complicated legal battle in regards to the throne....the car was just "another issue". well the elder brother is now the Sultan while the their father (the former Sultan till 2011) is still alive.... normally he would have just been Regent since the Sultan is still alive.... so there were two camps.....the Queen and younger son (the Claimant of the car) and then there was the elder brother (who has officially changed his name since he became Sultan) and the members of the Royal Council in the other camp....... the Kelantan Royal Battle could have been made into movie to be honest......

Hi guys, can someone please recommend a good workshop in Selangor to restore a Ferrari or basically old sports cars?

Used to use EM but gettin expensive these days with Rm150/hr bills. How's Ultratune or others? Need someone dedicated in the work.

Will be dropping engine, overhaul, new pipings, sandblast, zinc plating, install bushes etc. & lastly interior job. Will need to remove dash/meters to wrap & update the bulbs.

 

I don't think Ultratune is any better.... they had a good deal for the PPI on my car but they mostly do modern cars these days.....they're team is also filled with mechanics who are mostly guys in their early 20s....so not sure how much experience they have besides being fitters as opposed to fixers.......
I'm going to meet this one old timer who was recommended to me by a friend recently....i'll wait till after CNY and keep you posted.....

Thanks guys but I would avoid Tedco as well. They did a couple of my cars before & only useful if patience is your virtue or you have a lot of spare time to test their workmanship.

 

Oic.. my 944 was with Tedco before I bought it back to Ipoh. Saw lots of nice cars there.. Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Lotus, Maser, Jag etc. Singapore & Malaysia cars.. The other one I heard is quite good for older cars is located at OUG. same row as Plaza OUG, shopname is Kingston?? or something like that..

 

OUG? That's interesting, I go there for suppers but will try to visit in the day. Traffic is always heavy there.

James Of Tedco is a nice guy but we can't tahan his lady manager. My old 911 has to return 3x from Sgp & once being towed back from customs after supposedly being rebuilt. The rest usually take many months and loss of communications are frustrating. I know his son, Rubens is running his own workshop now but don't know where though.

I found the correct name: Kingswell Auto, tel 03-79828733/79834935. I found the contacts from forums when I was looking for Mondial PPI. btw, I sent the Mondial to EM for PPI.. The other workshop for classic is JTCars.. I heard Fengtau has his own workshop now..

 

Oic. I just reach Ipoh, will spareparts for my 944, timing belt etc.. will be here till next sunday.. long holiday if tt let me know..

Btw, I just acquired a 328GTS in KL but didn't do any PPI, saw it at night, went for a round & closed it but had the intention for doing it up so hope it's not a lemon touchwood!!
