Velocity Channel

Our service provider, Astound, no longer broadcasts this channel. Does Comcast broadcast this channel? Is there another way to get Velocity, like streaming, etc.? Thanks.

I can give you a synopsis of every Velocity channel show.

Mike and Edd find a beat up car and put it back on the road with junk yard parts, a clever use of bondo, and a can of spray paint. Mike laughs hysterically while Edd says "Job done!"

An a- hole manager in Boyd Cottington's hot rod shop annoys everyone while they build cars too fast.

West Coast Customs applies some of their horrible taste in car customizing and butchers cars owned by celebrities while corporate clients use the show as a 60 minute commercial.

Chip Foose fakes stealing someone's classic car so he can destroy it in his own image in a week and give it back to them while he sells aftermarket car makers products as well as his own wheels.

There. Now you won't miss a thing!

to answer your question,yes Comcast does carry Velocity,but it may vary by region

 

Comcast does carry it, but you have to have the HD box/service.

 

of course I should have mentioned that

i have the HD box,but never assume everyone else does

Ah, yes. Motorweek. When they tell us the Lamborghini Gallardo isn't such a great car because of it's limited trunk space, poor rearward visibility, lack of seat adjustments, and high carbon footprint.

Then Pat Goss tells us the proper way to check the air in the spare tire.

 

But, listening to Mike and Edd allows me to educate my non-British GF on the proper use of the Queen's English.

Thanks to them, she now knows the difference between quite chuffed and a bit chaffed; has a pretty good idea what squiffy means; and now properly refers to SUV's as mud pluggers.

Worth the price of admission, I'd say.

 

More recently, Velocity had a programming change. Ocean reefs
and Arizona reptiles are not what prompted me to subscribe a few
years back.

 

You forgot one...

Wayne Carini takes a $200,000 car to auction hoping it will sell for $500,000 and claiming he'd settle for $400,000... and the car sells for $120,000.

Yeah... Very disappointing. I used to watch Chasing Classic Cars, What's my Car Worth, and Wheeler Dealers every day overnight. Now it's a bunch of aquatic/animal shows. WTF?

 

After 20 years, you'd think the audience would learn by now!!!

 

Yeah, that crap... BTW, did they toss the poker shows? Those really sucked.

I think they need more motorcycle shows like Cafe Racer TV Season 3 | Airing now on Velocity!

Maybe some from an international perspective e.g. British Isles (no TT) and Down Under (no Outback; coastal/urban/NZ mountains instead).

 

That chick "Robin" has more bondo on her body than the cars they sell.. and that's saying something!

In fact, maybe Edd China did her bondo. He likes it alot!
