Do you know where your father purchased the car originally? The yellow sticker in the corner of the windshield looks similar to one used by Luis Ferria Ferrari, who I believe was a California dealer in the 70's. Any chance you'd have a larger resolution image?

My S1 was originally blue metallic and has a similar decal in the same spot, but I'm not 100% sure on the original interior color as it has been replaced at some point. Supposedly it was in California until 1980 or so.

What color was the interior in your grandfather's car? Did he change anything like chroming the airboxes or polishing the valve covers?

An LCB / LCF dual member ?
Would be interested (registry...) about his 350 GT and two other Espadas.
I'll visit Retromobile next month where at least 3 Lambos will be there. Hope to 'discover' some more on other stands.

    Espada Gods

DHL just knocked on my door and delivered these all the way from Italy . Only took 2 days to get here!!I have been looking for these since i purchased my car as they were not in frame when i bought it . I tried many but never found the exact ones until now . this company which makes all exterior rubber for espadas and other lambos just reintroduced these . Now I can have fat people ride in the back .......NOT !
That said these were NOT cheap with shipping 68 euros for the pair .. Oh well they are the exact ones needed in a series 2 . Not sure if they work on a one or a three but hope this email helps one of you guys anyways ..

Hope to see some of you in Amelia on mar 10

I hate to take the title away from him but I have just added the earliest Espada known to exist, to the Espada Registry. It is production #3, chassis 7006. Notice the cool V12 logo on the door panel. I've never seen this on any other Espada!

I have seen an Espada with those elastic pockets on the door but it was a very late car and I assumed that it was added by one of the owners. I wonder what the story is with the ones on this car?

Glen, do you know where 7006 is today since I found it 10 years ago near zurich.

Glen has my pics since 2002...

Prod. #3, delivery date of August 26, 1968.
Originally White, used in a James Bond movie, Serie 2 doors, later repainted green, now silver, the car is 2,5 cm shorter and narrower than Serie 1 cars!

The same owner used to own #7078, they were side by side when I found them in 2002, #7078 is meanwhile black instead of arancia-metallizato (Bertone Miura- Alfa Montral color).

I've my doubts for the story about the James Bond movie. I had it in my notes too until I spoke with an Espada owner and James Bond enthusiast who told me he has seen all the movies but can't remember an Espada. Also on IMCDB no records for an Espada in a James Bond movie.

Chassis number of the blue Espada is weird in this catalogue
Will try to get a real pic of #8011 (nice) VIN plate for FChat and the ILR.

I remember the blue one as a car I was trying to find over here when I was looking to buy. It's a nice combination. I guess it was ferried over to France. It looks like it needs much TLC now. The interior looks a bit worn.

There's your chance at a series one ...

The blue one doesn't look too bad from what obviously are VERY limited photos.
It has km speedo but I don't remember what it had before it left the USA.
There was some info on Glen's registry website on this car.

If they are in the registry, I do not subscribe to his registry. I refuse to pay to view my own information and information provided by other owners when the original intent was to allow access for all to see for free. Rant over.

If you have them, perhaps you can post them here as well for all to see for free.

What a find! Same door detail as in 7001, the azzurro sky prototype.
