Legendes De La Route Légendes de la route - Émissions - Historia This show is an absolute must for the TRUE gear head. Ever more so with this week's episode which featured the Ferrari FF & the 365GT 2+2 with our very own Umberto Bonfa. And the 246GT Dino with Richard Petit from Kebecson. Fellas, if you missed it, the episode replays during various times during the week.
A few pics of the FMoQ sponsored 458 from the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Congrats for 3rd place. That was a great show, the 365 sounded really good with the ansa exhaust system. I must say I like the FF more now, its one heck of a machine. The Dino was really beautiful, seems to be in very good condition. Hey Bernie how about presenting your 308 on the show, would you do it?

I would!!! But I'm sure that there are better local examples to feature than mine. However...finding a "charismatic" owner that will keep the interview interesting is another story. If you watch that series, it's the owners and their stories and how they convey their passion that makes all of the difference. There was one episode from the first season that featured "another Italian make". The guy they chose to talk to about this make/model (who toots his horn as being the "go-to" guy in that circle) was as charismatic as a door. He basically had a stupid grin the whole interview and said almost nothing. Heck, José Gaudet had more to say. If it was a joe-average, I can understand then being camera-shy or aloof. But this chap...in his line of work...people skills are essential. Nuff said...don't want to cause trouble.
A big KUDOS to Mary De Santis and Evange Destounis for a wonderful event. Also, great to see the fellow F-chatters/FCA members who were generous during the silent auction. Like I already told you guys, "habbiamo fatto una bella figura" and you guys were great ambassadors for the Ferrari World in Montreal. Y'all know who you are!
Sommet des legendes was fun to watch this week, the diablo is really awesome. Except the interior that looks awfull.
Well the Gallardo yeah, with Audi's interior. ( which I find is one of the best in the industry.) Not a bad thing.
To quote someone from the Charbonneau Commission: "I don't remember" It was just a short drive around the neighbourhood. The cops have told me that when they see a sports car out and about in winter...they're sure to check if it's got winter tires.
As far as fit and finish is concerned, yes, Audi's hand at Lamborghini is a step up. However, I've driven the new Lambos and I find that there is nothing remotely Italian about them. They feel downright Teutonic. Like Porches...they leave me cold.
