...yes might buy another one, I like these watches. They are of good quality, good materials, good workmanship. Could they be better? Sure. They could be more expensive as well.

I challenge you to go to the mall and find a similar quality watch for ~$150. I am sure some of you watch gurus can, but I have not. Even my Invictas cost more, and IMO the Ferrari watches have superior quality, but both nice.

 

Well still no joy for me. No watch yet and no reply at all from the several emails I've sent "customer service". Anyone have a phone # I can call and talk to someone?

 

I've tried to find it with no luck. My GT auto doesn't work - the US facility responded to my emails and said they'd replace it but sent no return shipping address; last week they said they'd do so but nothing yet. Simple matter I'd think.

I had an aweful time with them as well. They didn't respond to any emails when the strap fell apart or when I tried to return a watch. They have a return policy, but don't help you.

I am sure you will get your watch....

 

Well maybe they read Fchat!? Since posting my last post I got two emails with shipping info. Who knows how they work!? I guess they do respond to the emails eventually. No explanation or anything just an invoice for shipping it.

Nope. All they did was send me an order confirmation, then an invoice and the next day a note saying it was shipping. Then I got an email appologizing for the delay. No names, no numbers, just the emails from customer service.

I still don't have the watch, but it should be here in a few days now.

Move to ITALY.

Then you'll be in the right time zone and won't have to set it.

I finally got an email with instructions to send to address in Italy. Filling out return shipping paperwork was a PITA but I'm pleased that Fedex and customs are on them.

Neat watch - hope the new one works!

 

Push the crown and CITY and T1 will be displayed. The T1 will be flashing as well as the arrow pointing to the current time zone. Keep pushing A until the arrow points to the time zone you want. Pushing B again moves to the DST setting where you can turn it on or off. Pushing B then moves you to 24HR or 12HR setting for the digital display, set it with A accordingly. Another push of B brings you to T1 and the time you want flashing on the digital face. Setting T1 will set the analog hands to your desired time. Next is the date. Pushing the crown lets you set up T2 which.

I found that you have to sync the hands separately. You do this by pushing the crown for 3 seconds. SYNC will appear on the digital display. Then push the top button until the hour hand moves to 12:00 followed by pushing the bottom button until the minute hand moves to 12:00. Push the crown when finished. The hands will then be synced to the digital time. After the hands are synced they will also automatically move to about 10:10 when you are changing settings on the digital display so that you can see the entire display. Took about an hour to figure this out.

A nice function I discovered is that if you push the top and bottom buttons simultaneously when the digital time is displayed, the hands and digital display will switch between showing time 1/time 2 vs. time 2/time 1.

 

I still haven't seen mine but it should be here any day now. Looking at the tracking info it's now in Memphis. Maybe it wanted to stop and see Graceland??

Mine made it from Memphis to the West Coast and my home today. Delivered by a surprisingly cute Fed-Ex driver. I may have to start using them more if she is the normal driver!!

A few nice looking females have made Fedex and UPS deliveries to my house but they're rare - most are men or ugly women.

The black GT auto is a nice looking watch and seems well made save the rinkydink plastic clasp buckle; at around $325 a deal. I just happened to get the one that didn't work.

 

Hahahahaha! I think it is a FedEx or UPS hubs. I know I tracked a package once and it went from TX to Memphis on its way to HNL.

 

Yep I looked it up and you are correct. Memphis for FedEx and Louisville for UPS. Made it here today though and I'm wearing it right now. It's all good!!

BTW, I got one seveal weeks ago. As other have stated, it is a nice $200 watch but if I had paid $1000 I would have been disappointed

 

Which just shows you REAL cost.

Groupon takes a 50% cut of the price, not including freight. Although I suspect for higher ticket items Groupon may be flexible on their percentage.
