    Apologies if I fail in following any guidelines for this forum but I cannot get private messaging to work.

    I have been collecting old races for years (I was born in 1990 and didn't start watching until 1996 so missed all the good bits!) as it is my only way of seeing the old races. Is there perhaps any way you would be able to/interested in exchanging a couple of things? I do not know if you are after specific years, specific series or major Ferrari races. I can offer you the French TV broadcast of the 1965 Le Mans 24 Hours (Rindt wins in a 250LM).

    Time to resurrect this thread. So I am packing to move April 1, and I find boxes with slides. Mostly family, but, some race photos (copyrighted photos), the rejects. Not much time to scan, but here are a few. Sorry, not excellent.

    Looks like the Glen based on the grandstand and the pit wall on the right of the picture.

    F1 boats, incredible. They would turn on water much faster much more impressive than F1 cars. Not sure if F1 boats still exist, but for sure, they make F1 cars look like crap.

    What an amazing thread RP, can´t belive i only noticed it today...must have been sleeping around here!!! Love the pics and love the stories....it definatly must have been a great period back in the 70s and you seemed to have enjoyed it very well!!!

    I apologize for not remembering the years of these photos. I should have looked at the date on the slides before I left the country.

    This is a start of the Long Beach GP. I was not supposed to be at this location, but I wanted to get a shot of the start. Very difficult at this track, and the first turn was a distance so I thought the cars would be too spread out for a good shot. I need to put these shots through Photoshop to get them more clear, better colors.
