I feel you mate, I took a train recently and some guy was leaning on the handle bars. I asked him politely that I needed to hold it and it was quite crowded. "Brother, can I hold the bar" He looked at me in disbelief and said why cannot eh!!! I told him it was for people's hands and not for his back. He followed by an angry stare and shouted , you foreign talent! Go back where you came from. I just shook my head and lucky for me it was from City Hall to Tanjong Pagar. The trains are packed and everyone is tired or stressed.. And people would just find any excuse to quarrel sad but this is happening ! As a kid I could still remember taking the bus and trains where it's was never this crowded or with so many unhappy people. Sporeans on the whole have become very apathetic ! On my trip to shanghai, the china citizens are so proud of their train networks and they seem happier than any sporean taking public transport, Their train is only 2 RMB
You left out the part on connections. If you know the right people, things can be settled very fast. Its like taking the lift instead of the escalator.

Lol, yes the zonda can be seen quite a fair bit and because maybe the RS6 is just too sedated looking. There are a handful and I have another friend who drives one in my neighborhood . And a few are PI cars
The only good thing about this place is that you somewhat have a choice in the sense that income taxes are low, no capital gain/dividend taxes but lots of consumption taxes. So if you choose to live a boring life (they know you wouldn't), you could save quite a bit as compared to living in the US where Uncle Sam is searching for all sources to patch up the over burdened boat. But the moment you buy a car esp for the middle class wage earner,little does he seem to realise that his taxation has just shot right to the roof for a country with no welfare system.
