You are probably no too far off with the side, according to the F150 project plate. Now that sketch needs to be revised to integrate the actual front and rear that Ferrari already released. Still none of our style experts has come up with a complete drawing that includes all the actual bits we know and is consistent with the mule, plate, etc. Following the sad news that we are still a whole month away form unveiling, I desperately urge those experts to put their pencils to work... Come on artists!
In the photos I've seen of the finished product, there's nothing in the photo for scale, but I can say it looks smaller than the Enzo and I know it's much more tightly packaged.
so any comments on the two pics showing what should be the F150? if you saw it it should be simple to posts comments, no?
I was going to respond to some of the earlier comments from last night, but this seems to be getting back on track after a few pages without disruptions so I will let it lie. Frankly, and with all due respect to you, that's not a difficult prediction to make. Of course I am one of those people who thought the F50 was a beauty and that opinion is hardly a popular one either. >8^) ER
I must say this one is consistent with all we know except maybe for the overall shape/proportions, surely much sleeker here than will actually be (not that I don't prefer like this!). Would you care to make a new sketch using actual mule proportions (like drawing directly over it)???
Apparently the launch at Geneva and the Ferrari Museum is on 8th March which just happens to be my 60th. Could it be an omen for me?
A few snippets. Very aggressive look, almost F1 styled wheel, carbon periscope like console, amazing and beautifully detailed aero and way ahead of Mclaren look. Rumour is P1 scaled back to 300 units as not selling. Customers being closely vetted by the company, no 'no resale ' clause, but you have to have the right profile and that means more than just the cars you have owned which is no guarantee. Here's hoping for a birthday present, but not hopeful I will make the cut!
Well there's always the question of how many they are REALLY producing so maybe chances are good for someone with a checkbook! I'll certainly apply if I unexpectedly marry rich
I have seen the car last week and to me none of the renders or pictures shown anywhere comes close to the real thing. The car is a work of art and mouth watering in every aspect and the only word to describe it is wow. Of course some renders comes closer than others but none does justice to the final result. I was especially surprised by the proportions of the car which seem to be spot on and many pictures shown here are so far away from the real car although You can find some design elements shown on some spy pictures . It may also be the best sounding Ferrari ever which comes very close to a F1 according to a Film shown at the preview.
I can't help but smiling when reading such a positive post about the car. I'm really excited about your comments on the sound and the design. It would be great if you could elaborate to clarify some of the details. How long is the rear overhang compared to the mule or the Enzo? Does the headlights continue the current style? In what color did you see the car - bi-color by any chance? And can you tell us anything regarding the front - especially the intake/outtake on the bonnet? Thanks in advance.
First official feed back, thanks, even if finally you are still not giving us a clear picture of this .... car!
