The best is the garages in the way back. Some truly cool cars. Did you ask if they were cool with posting pics? I have some good LM pics from 8 years ago but was asked if I could keep them offline? Maybe they changed their request? Id love to share 'em but have kept em to my self all these years.

Same here! I was asked not even to take pictures in the workshops and garages, only showroom. But that was 7 years ago.

I've had the same experience. Some shops don't want you to post anything. Others enjoy the publicity. I was visiting a dealer who I had done some business with in the past. He took me back into the shop to show me the new service area. I saw a black trap covering 2 services bays. It was about 12 feet high. Turns out it was a brand new Cali. The owner took delivery, thought he had it covered with his insurance. Drove it a few days, parked it in under ground covered parking, and went on a criuse.Gone a week, bad rain storm, garage flooded...Ferrari sent 2 factory guys to dismantle the car completely. Ordered all the new parts, leather, carpet, wiring harness...reassembled the car to perfect condition...at the customers expense...I followed up a few months later. The customer took delivery of the car, and hasn't had any problems...due to no insurance...no claim of Car Fax...I took some pictures and was asked not to publish online...never have and won't...at the end of the day...your word is the only valuable you control...

During the visit when I took the above photos they took us into the garage where they were working on their 430 ALMS cars. They started one of them up in that tiny room. It was so loud it made me a little dizzy. :) It was the green Khron racing one in the photos below.

They started up one of the F1 cars too but I can't remember which.

The didn't say anything to me about posting photos. This visit was with the Porsche Club back in my Porsche days. They knew a big group was coming through so they probably hid anything they didn't want us to see.

I may or may not have been on this exact same tour as you. I went with a PCA group a few years ago too, and I remember specifically seeing a lot of the same cars in your photos. (Specifically the FXX, the Black Enzo thing, and the GTO). They started a green F430GT when I was there. The only real difference was the other car they fired up was not an F1 car, but was a 333SP.

All told, the one takeaway I had with the whole tour was that despite the group size (and us being grubby Porsche people) the guys at FoH were super cool. Very nice. Very laid back and not uptight - even with all that high dollar machinery around.

I have a few pics at home as well. Took a few pictures of the operating room/engine rebuild room. Very nice. Very clean.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was the same tour -- in one of the pics I can see a guy that came with me on it (he's taller than me and easier to spot).

Is that a real car? I have never heard of a GTO being at FOH. Then again, there is lot I haven't heard of.
