Arrived last week. Rosso Berlinetta with cuoio Daytona interior. Nerly identical with how I have spec'd my car (except that I chose Rosso Fiorano and had contrasting black stripes on the seats. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's the one they've been shipping around the country to different dealers. Its very nice. That color is amazing.
You know, you're right. But, the same color combo though. I do love that color but I don't like the price!
There must be more than one. The car they sent out here did not have side markers. Looks great. Will have to stop and see it next time I'm in NYC. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was told that this dealer was getting one the first US cars for a client in January, it was going to red over tan. So if this isn't it, I don't know what it is.
Maybe the F12 with the sidemarker lights is the built Red Cross car... Needs the racing seats with that 'daytona' trim! CH
I thought production was delayed. No allocations at my dealer as of yesterday... Supposedly. I better finalize n double check spec then.
the car at the NAIAS didn't have side markers & it had the racing seats: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
funny story behind that when I asked her very nicely if she would "pose" for a photo next to the car,she flat out said NO. Thought there might be a contractual agreement or something. I can only imagine all the goofy requests these women get from wacked out show goers, but I was there very early in the morning on the very first press day.......the other women on the Ferrari/Maserati stand were a bit more friendly. What can I say? I did have a nice conversation with a Marketing woman from FNA. "Whatever" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Me too. The reason why american people are forced to sport those hideous things on their europeans car is a mystery for me. It makes the car look cheaper than the euro versions. Is legal to remove it ?
It is a mandatory Federal Standard to sell cars in the USA. Legal to remove? Don't get caught. I can't imagine the local law enforcement officers noticing something like that.
Interesting. Perhaps the dealer has another car there or perhaps the client's car was delayed? It seems rather odd that FNA delivered an identical spec car as a demonstrator.
I know that, but I was told this particular car would be there in late January and that it was a customer car and not the demonstrator. It's very odd that the demonstrator was spec'd exactly the same as I was told the customers car would be. However, my friend may have been confused or there are two cars.
I don't think that's true. My dealer already ordered one in the system for a customer. But, he doesn't know what his total allocation will be -- just guesses so far. I'm talking to them again this week.
