They should have read Fchat yesterday. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/142097376-post5794.html As I said then it was obviously bogus.
Well, your buddies at Jalopnik got duped. They issued a mea culpa today. Ferrari F150 Debut Announcement On Official Ferrari Instagram Is False Because Ferrari Doesn't Have An Official Instagram "Yesterday Ferrari announced on its official Instagram page that the Enzo-replacing F150 hypercar will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. There is just one problem with that: We just spoke to Ferrari, and they don't have an official Instagram page. Uh oh. When we saw the Instagram post yesterday, we got so excited that we started frothing at the mouth and immediately published a story. We ignored the suspect grammar on the page since we were so stoked. We even ignored the fact that Ferrari spelled the word "official" as "oficial" on its "official" page. So did nearly every other car website on the known internet."
Agreed Jim - them, along with several other publications who stepped in it. I guess having more than one source no longer matters? Plus, the last time Ferrari used Instagram to release important news was... never. And the mea culpa from Jalopnik is fine, as long as they learn from it. Seems the haste to get a story out in the world of e-media causes these people to forgo all journalistic integrity at times. Not good... >8^) ER
Awesome. I'm glad you included a photo. I thought you were referring to an '85 Taurus. Don't we wish all "old Fords" were like this?
They need to make sure they don't date any French models! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmx4twCK3_I]State Farm® - State of Disbelief (French Model) - YouTube[/ame]
Surely many of you remember that's the same Instagram account that published a picture of a tuner modded F12 a while back (prob. FF/F12 section) and many people believed it was a new version... That was a good couple of months ago.
Gee I wonder where Jalopnik got the idea that Ferrari didn't have an Instagram? I wonder if they got my email? I highly doubt they 'spoke with Ferrari'.

Bbbbbrrrrrruuuugggggghhhhhhhh, Very cold with snow here in Maranello... Anybody else here for a tomorrow appnt? Regards Mike James
I asked Ferrari Northern Europe's PR, through twitter, about the Instagram page about a month ago, when a picture of a standard 430 was posted as a Scuderia. He said he would raise it with Maranello. Mind you Ferrari's official Flickr account has posted a picture of a 71 312Pb and identified it as a 69 312P before, and their official facebook page has shared pictures of Novitec Rosso modified Ferraris (although these were shared from another Facebook page not directly posted by them).
That's because the official Ferrari's Facebook page is managed by a young racing driver called Sammy Wasem, and I really dislike the way he's managing the account. As you have stated, he uploads pictures of modified Ferraris (Enzo would hate to see today his cars modified by external companies), he keeps promoting his personal fan page and he had also the bravery to share through Ferrari's official page this crap: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151353779043139&set=pb.35593773138.-2207520000.1360677635&type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-snc7%2F397693_10151353779043139_246037990_n.jpg&size=960%2C540 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151353779118139&set=pb.35593773138.-2207520000.1360677635&type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-ash3%2F578421_10151353779118139_1179093936_n.png&size=824%2C567 Guys, if any of you know how to get in touch with a person in charge for the web of Ferrari, please tell him to discharge this guy.
