I like that video. First time I seen a TR with 348 wheels and they look not bad at all on it. Also the guy story at the end with the Countach is very similar to my story and makes me think I must have done the right move.

    Thanks for sharing it.

Nice vid. He got me exciting about taking the engine out..."couple of bolts, couple of hoses", made me think I could do it myself! LOL

Well I think like him about these cars, the steering is light. Depend to what you compare. I had a 1971 Mustang 429 CJ 4 speed no p/s let me tell you your hand are full when driving in town. Also when compared with my GT5 pantera with 285 in front.

    Agreed.

It seems that anytime a car lack PS, the reviewer automatically claims that the car has heavy steering.

Great video - good points about the TR still running into future years thanks to its low level electronics. Think of a 599 in 30 years!

I had no idea that 348 wheels fit the TR. It's a classic look.

A similar video on the Countach - also well done:

RE: Steering - if there is really any motion at all I do feel the steering is not so bad. Sitting still, tight maneuvering, or - eek! - parallel parking is a different matter altogether. But for tooling around town or tossing around in the hills it is a great system.

Totally agree. Parallel parking or just reversing in general sucks...as does any sharp turn at a crawling speed. But as soon as you get going at any pace, things lighten up considerably.

I wouldn't change a thing about it. The steering is extraordinarily communicative. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
