I gotta call you out on this one. Rest assured, I'm no killjoy, but hear me out:

Totally disagree that the 4 Ferrari Supercars were "conceived, designed, built and intended for" rally-crossing in the mud. An Audi Quattro Sport maybe. Ferrari Supercars? Not so much. Methinks Ferrari Supercars were designed for high-speed cruising on great roads, and the occasional visit to a great track, not rally-crossing on a farm.

This is simply disrespectful behavior by a bored hooligan driving "Daddy's cars". Perhaps if he had actually earned the money to acquire the the cars that Daddy owns which he is thrashing, he would treat them in a less juvenile manner.

Kinda sad when you need to resort to cheap thrills to impress the jaded masses and gain 5,000 new "friends" on You Tube by acting out a childish fantasy - clearly rebelliously, because although his fake plate says "Tax the rich" to impress the You Tubers, his Daddy is, ironically, rich.

My reaction to the video was: So? If you really want to impress me, drive the cars in the London to Peking rally and back again. I'll bet every panel on the underside of that Enzo was significantly damaged and this video really cost 5 figures. I know what it costs to replace them, ask me how I know.

By the way, do you have it on good authority that Daddy approved this little video?? Perhaps Hunt jr will get a good spanking and be sent to bed early tonight when Daddy (who doesn't suffer fools gladly) sees the video

Totally disrespectful, sorry, I'm not feeling the love. I am in the Ferrari Supercar business full-time, I deal with more of them likely than anyone in the USA, and I know people who have worked very hard for many years to acquire these as an ultimate goal, and whilst they are fun-loving people, never in their wildest dreams would they treat them this way. Drive them hard on good roads? Yes. But this? Not a chance.

I understand everyone spontaneously standing up and applauding this nonsense, but think it through a bit and you might feel differently.

All IMO of course.

I think he is doing this with his fathers blessings (how else could he?) and as some kind of joke played on the snobby rich who just park their cars instead of using them.

I don't see it as disrespectful at all. After all it's just a car and after it's been bought from Ferrari, they have no say in how to use it. if he want to drive them off a cliff to make a point he could do that. It's his family's cars and their money.

If the car is legally owned and parental consent has been secured etc etc, then who are we to judge? The owners and their approved/authorised borrowers can do what ever they like.

As a 2 min youtube coffee break piece of entertainment, it's highly entertaining. And, there is no question that the makers of this film have man vegetables the size of watermelons.

Sorry I have to agree with joe on this and I think he was correct in all he said. Each and everyone of us is entitled to our own opinion on a open public forum, and you respect him for driving this/these cars in this location in this manner. That is your prerogative.

However like joe said it wasn't his hard earned which propelled him into this position, and other than a lottery winner or footballer who comes into new found wealth overnight, then every single owner of these cars appreciate what they have worked for, and would never disrespect their own property in such a way, there is a time and a place for everything, supercars are for tracks or special trips out, off-roading is for rally cross cars or atv's.

And if it was as you said a joke on the super rich as underlying insult to them on not having the bottle to drive them in such a manner, then I'm afraid he is mistaken as like joe pointed out, it shows him acting as a spoiled brat and a hooligan. If he had done it in his own rally car then he would of earned much more respect for him and his video. Like I said earlier he has had inspiration from ken block in the style of his video, he could of propelled himself into a UK version of him and earned him keen followers if this was his aim to entertain, instead he paints a completely different picture of himself. Good luck to him if that was his aim too.

Oh please, if you find this offensive then i feel bad for you. Those who are fortunate enough to own an enzo can drive it as he or she desires. It's a car, not a painting.

Thank you for that info, I just saw the other channel a few days ago! I really do respect him and his family for using the cars. Way to many F's collect dust, and it's great to see some of the greats in F history being had fun with, outside of an exclusive trackday or twisty road!

I know this is sound tacky but, lucky kids...

 

Finally, thank you for putting it out there!

I too pity those who are so overly sentimental that they cannot treat an F like they would any other sports car because of the red paint and Cavallino. (I'm speaking in general terms here, not pointing fingers at anyone). Yes there are different types of people, and owners. But where is the respect here? He 99.9% has his dads consent, and if you can afford an Enzo then you can probably afford the running costs too, no matter how you chose to use it. F's were built to be used, and the harder you use them, the more fun! I think the only "damage" that the car attained there was a set of worn tires and some chips. In his day, Enzo didn't give all to much about his road cars, he just wanted people to drive the hell out of them so he could make money from the garage bills + come back and buy a new car. Which in the end gave him money to race with. At least, that's my humble view on history...

I don't even like the Enzo and I think it was a sad way to treat a great car.

Think back to the videos that Manuma shared here of his father's Enzo and FXX - those were just as entertaining and in far more suited environments than the one seen here. They showcased just as much talent of car control without leaving the car a pitiful, damaged mess at the end.

I enjoyed the video, but it does seem like a waste of a good car.

It's the equivalent, to me, of taking a $10k bottle of wine and mixing it with Sprite to make wine coolers. I'm sure that's been done too.

 

Video probably took several days to make, not including all the editing. Looks like good fun for the price of a good detail afterwards. I needed to replace the engine under much more sterile conditions.

 

A waste? Some of us are under the impression that a car is meant to be driven, especially a Ferrari. Oh now I get it, there is no 'ass-fault', nevermind.

Replace the egocentric $10K bottle of wine with a $5 bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 and the Sprite with Mountain Dew, problem solved.

You dreamed, you worked, you bought your Enzo. No way are you letting me use it for rally-crossing on a muddy farm.

And that is my central point. People who work hard for something take care of it, as you do your Enzo.

They can go on till the cows come home - there are many appropriate ways to treat these cars, but rally-crossing on a muddy farm isn't one of them.
