I did a search and found nothing.

I saw a rubber tube/hose sticking out of a hole in front of the rear driver side wheelwell under my CS. It was dangling and I can see part of it from inside the engine bay. It was too dark to get a picture unfortunately.

Is it a gas exhaust tube? Like number 29 in this pic?

Why does it dangle out? Is there a bracket i am missing?

    Thanks
    Mike

It's the drain tube from the fuel bowl. Leave it be!

There are 3. One at the front is an A/c drain. Two at the back. Outer(larger one) near the rear arch is the fuel cap area drain/vent. Smaller inboard one is the overflow from the coolant header tank..

Thats what i thought, but it dangles and hits the ground, I shoved it back into the hole. Hopefully it will not drain stuff inside the under belly plastic covers.

Not sure I would push it back up into the hole. If it is the fuel bowl drain, an overflow from a gas pump may end up with a puddle of gasoline in the location you pushed it to with a corresponding risk of a fire in that location. Better to have the gasoline on the ground. If you can trace the hose, I would suggest to see if you can find if it somehow came disconnected higher up. If it looks properly connected, it may be preferable to just cut it shorter. Maybe the factory installed a line that was just a bit too long.

I would not cut it short or push it back up. It was made long so it is closer to the ground - as such any overflow would not splatter and might cause grips issues on your tires (just a thought)

My friend's car has the same hose sticking out, but it's not dangling, it is rigidly sticking out. I suspect I have a bracket that came loose higher up. Will have it investigated when I drop my car off for service. Thanks all.

Trim it off above the ground.
If it drags it could provide a grounding path for sparks
