Just got my first ever Ferrari - 458 Italia!!!!

Just got a 2011 458 black with yellow shields, yellow calipers, black interior with yellow stitching, lots of carbon fiber - amazing! Getting the sport rims painted black to match exterior color & getting the orange/red side marker lights on each side blacked out. Dealer will have car ready for pickup late next week. Will post more photos then. Boyhood dream realized! So excited to join the club with all you guys!
I am 33 & reside in Miami. Contacted all the local dealers but Ferrari of Palm Beach was far & away the best. Giovanni Tosti is the GM there & he is wonderful. He's the same age as me & 100% ethical. Bud Root was my salesman & he is the nicest guy ever to work with. Getting the deal done was so easy. Best experience I've ever had buying a car. Highly recommend working with them if you're in South Fla.
Will keep this for a little while & then get the 458 Spider next. Here's a photo I took on my iPhone of the Italia next to my 2013 G Wagon I just bought last week.

Thanks everybody! I am so happy! Promise to post lots of photos when I pickup the car toward the end of next week. I'll also post my driving impressions as a new Ferrari owner. I'll also post some more photos of the G Wagon, I'm getting 24" custom painted Forgiatos going on it early next wk. Love the G Wagon, my fav SUV by far. Wanted an SUV with the Ferrari & got my 2 favorites in same week. I'll post some photos of the 2 cars together as well.

Would never drive a lambo, I'm Ferrari forever! Like the G wagon truck more anyway, think that Lambo is kinda ugly IMHO.

 

Buying a 2011 black 458 Coupe shows what good taste you have in cars!

Take the time to read the owners manual on how to work a few things, such as:
- the parking brake (and what "car wash" mode is).
- the secondary gauges on the left screen.
- the radio controls (yikes!).
- the nav system and cruise control (if it has those options).

I bought my first Ferrari at age 33 as well, a 360. I was so ecstatic with it... I thought I would keep it *forever*!

Thanks. I'll ask Bud about all those points when I pick up the vehicle next week. I'm not familiar with any of that stuff. It does have satellite radio and NAV. Was listening to Hair Nation on SiriusXM as I was test driving!

Congrats!! Like your 458/SUV combo. I've got 458 coming in March/April have Escalade (and Maserati QP which I really like) live in Illinois - SUV great for winter - and just handy. Enjoy them both!!! Post more pics!!

Thanks and will do! Will have the Forgiato's on the G wagon either on Mon or Tues and will pick up the Ferrari at dealer either on Thurs or Fri. So, will have final pics of both cars with all custom work complete by end of next week!

 

I got my first Ferrari a 430 at age 33 as well rite before my 34th bday best bday gift ever.
