The lambo V12 family has one hell of a good looking lineage, all the way from Miura right down to today's Aventador. Can't say the same for the Ferrari F12/V12 family though.

I would think Diablo would be wider. You'll be suprised at all the yesteryear then super wide cars like the Testa and Diablo compare now to the present day V8s which have bloated in size. Hence the new direction that Ferrari wants to take to shrink their future cars in weight and size.

If you get a chance to see a 308 vs. a 430, you'll see how tiny the 308 looks now but it didn't seem to look small back in the 80s'.

insurance scams are increasing by leaps and bounds ...

and the tragedy is that NO ONE gives a sh*t ... not even the legal or statutory bodies ...

Ive been meaning to ask.... why do people trade their porsche brakes on their porsche, ferrari brakes for ferrsri etc... for 3rd party brakes i.e brembo instead of using the default ones?

Are 3rd party brakes actually better

No manufacturer makes their own brakes. It is all OEM so your original Ferrari brakes is usually a Brembo. Same as all the switch gear and a whole host of other things on the car. Manufacturers only do the body, even chassis and engines are usually shared platforms these days except for higher end cars. That said, the Bentley shares a lot with the top end VW.

Google for James Glickenhaus+Ferrari & spend a night reading.

Insurance is legally needed for all vehicles in any country as 3rd party claims can bankrupt you.

Brembo is almost the single OEM supplier to most EU sports cars especially the top Marques but there's also AP & a couple others. However, people are never satisfied with stock cars so there's a huge after market upgrade kits.

Ooh, ok. I have a close friend who's dad has a 308 in Pasir Gudang, I think I posted the photo before some years back. That was actually the first ever Ferrari I've sat in to be honest, but I didn't pay attention to the dimensions, although a quick google definitely showed the difference! How much wider is the Aventador compared to the Murcie then? I know I can get a quick google answer on the dimensions, but just out of curiousity, is it as hard to pass through the customs lanes compared to its predecessor?

U guys should see Tuck in his 60's British car, that thing is a dwarf!! Yet it's good for two persons & a proper boot.

I think the Diablo rears are just marginally wider than Countach but it just looks so fat on the earlier car.

The Murcie is wider than Diablo while the Bentley GT is also quite wide. Not sure about Aventador but should be challenging to cross the customs lanes.

Try a lambo. Think their brakes are made by kia. Ridiculous pedal feel and totally heat soak and fail after 3 or 4 laps if steel. Im running the Endless GT set up on my Balboni. Stunning brakes and at SGD30k still cheaper than lambo ceramics and with better feel and almost as light.
