My Evora comes with AP front and back as stock. I am very very pleased with the brakes on the evora.

Honestly, I would not know which brake is better than the other.

I had brembos on my Subaru WRXes quite some time ago. The brembos on my 1998 Subaru WRX GC8 felt great! But it did not feel as great on my 2006 Subaru WRX. And I had both cars at the same time. Drove them one after another to feel the brakes, and both felt different on both cars. And the brembo brake sets on both cars were the exact same model! guess the chasis makes a difference as the GC8 is a much lighter chasis and the design of the chasis is different too.

I then had the F430 brembos(courtesy of Derek :)) on my Lotus Esprit and it felt really amazing, and this was a car with no ABS. Just pedal feel and leg power.

Had the BMW performance brake set on my old 3 series and it felt awesome.

Now I have the AP racing as stock on my Evora and it feels amazing too.

I dont know what feels better, brembo or AP.

disclaimer: think of what else the abbreviation of CCB can mean. For those who are lost....something along the lines of "smelly........."

And MP, you burnt a CCB in 12 months after lapping her over and over again? and got it replaced? You were a real lover boy!!

Sorry for the apparent perversion...but I could not resist. :)

Was at the track with my mate. He was running aftermarket brembo on his 997tt... Brakes failed him at turn 15.... Guess the rest....

Very strange. 997TT uses the gen2 CCBs that are very reliable, I did 6 laps+ & never faded. Did he upgrade his brake fluid prior to tracking it?

You're asking if Lambo is better or Ferrari, to each their own & a lot has to do with brake pads first then discs etc not necessarily the more pistons the better. That tech alone is a science of its own & some even have to balance with the master cylinder. In the real world, if we don't race or do serious tracking/driving, stock brakes are usually adequate & the weight of your ride penalizes stopping so start by losing weight. And then there's tyres.....

The stock 4pot on my 996C2 is worse than Jap saloons & even after changing pads don't help. Well, just watch the road! :D

Stock PCCB or aftermkt? Many turbos & GT3s are not spec with ccb.

Our dear friend kissed the Armcos at turn15, they should name it after him! :p

Yes, I was as surprised as you.

He had knee injuries and he was like WTF! Just happened.

Lucky he only damaged the car and not himself.

There a few and with Hard driving it failed! Not sure if its just an isolated thing as Porshes rarely have this problem , or so I been told
