normal or special stitch?

Not necessarily bigger but more like a double stitch, so it is more pronounced.

If you are going for contrast then special stitch usually works best, if you want the stitch to disappear then the regular stitch works best.

 

Go with dark and small stitching on the dash.... If you go bright, it reflects off the windshield and makes it hard to see

 

Unless you wear polarized shades...then they disappear.

 

Check the dealer's sample case and he can show you the difference. Every dealer has one. Then you can see for yourself.

 

The Mayor is exactly correct. Check the two stitches for yourself. The exact colors may or may not be available, so you still might have to use some imagination, but definitely check the actually 'regular vs special' stitching pattern and then go on the configurator and explore, that is if they don't have the exact colors you need at the dealership.

I ordered the special stitching, STC2. I think the difference is that the stitches are shorter on STC2 (as shown on the above link) giving the appearance of a bolder stitch. I can't tell what the yellow is in the photo, but here a couple pictures of mine.

Appears that the special stitch ST2 is a shorter stitch. Hard to tell ST1 and ST2 in pics unless they are side by side.
