The research, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a professional journal, is just the latest in a series of studies demonstrating that wealthier people may not be as nice as others:

If money really does make people go bad, and I'm not convinced that it does, then the solution isn't avoiding wealth -- it's avoiding the bad behavior. That means:

    1) As your wealth and income grow, so should your charitable giving. Giving back is a great way to acknowledge your blessings and battle self-centeredness.

    2) Remember that no one is self-made. You can enjoy your accomplishments without forgetting that other people had a role in getting you where you are today: the parents who diapered you, the teachers who taught you, the mentors who guided you, the people who cheered you on.

    3) Ethics matter. Character is who we are when no one is looking, and it's revealed in how we treat the people around us. If you're religiously inclined, you might reflect on the admonition in Luke 12:48, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." If you're not religiously inclined, keep in mind that what goes around, comes around.

    4) The law matters too, by the way. You can make an argument that our justice system works differently for the rich than for the poor, but the vehicle code doesn't care who has the fanciest car. Give pedestrians, and the vehicle on the right, the right of way.

Last but not least, there are still good rich peoples in this world.

Kansai Intl does get a little windy, I remember how the bus driver had to brake and realign the bus because the wind was blowing us off the lane as we were driving on the very long bridge that connects the airport to land.

And during one of our sim checks in Toulouse the instructor thought it would be fun for us to do circuits and landing in Madeira, the sim literally shook the crap out of me. The approach isnt all too bad, its just the moderate to severe turbulence that makes things a tad more challenging.

there are many others that didn't make the list or have been "upgraded" ...

recall a flight we did many, many years ago deliverling a piper to muscat inside our DC3 ...

the runway we used back then had a 7 degree deviation at the half way point ... and hilly terrain on approach ...

    :)

From what I think, The 458 successor most probably in 6 years. Correct me if i'm wrong.

The 360 came out in 1999 and stopped in 2005. That is 6 years.

The F430 came out in 2004 and stopped in 2010. That is 6 years.

The 458 came out in 2011. So I am assuming it will also stay here for 6 years. 2017 we should see the new model.

It's an uphill landing so cant imagine what happens if you need to abort your approach. There are massive mountain peaks on all sides. Taking off is downhill and seems quite simple like a bond movie where the plane just launches off a cliff.

    it's a 66 275GTS.
