Yes - all the cars it beats to that figure. ;)

I'd be upset if I could remember the name of a character from Lilo and Stitch. :p

Are you certain the word 'Intelligent' belongs in your screenname? I have long been wondering, and I'm fairly intelligent myself. ;)

Please note - ignore the part about 'four turbochargers' in the GTspirit article. That is not accurate.

And I'm sorry if it seems I pick on you, but I can't help myself, this P1 is like a joke that keeps on giving, nevermind the X1. Hope you too will see it for what it is one day, nothing personal.

You were picking on me? Doesn't matter - I don't care if you feel that every car McLaren has ever produced is worthless as people are entitled to their own opinions, but when those opinions are verbalized, I'll feel free to comment. ;)

Eric how accurate are these numbers? Do you know the exact numbers? Some numbers are very close.

    Thanks arhimede,

I assume it means about 1320-1330 kg dry.

I haven't tested it myself, but these are the figures McLaren released today. Here's their full press release from this morning:

Yes - the 1,400 kg number seems to be accurate as it was supplied to several depositors, but I would believe it to be a dry weight figure until such time as it is confirmed one way or the other. When the 12C was released they used the same number in the initial press info and it ended up being dry weight for the 12C as well.

I don't think 6 seconds under the GT3's at the Spanish GP track is going to be close. The 600KG of downforce is the one the F70 has to beat to to that.

If that is dry - as Peloton seems to think - , it's a bit disappointing given that Ferrari with the big V12 claims a similar dry weight to the Enzo (1250 kg). Remains to be verified though.

Oh Italy is not that badly off. Greece is really screwd and Cyprus and Portugal are not far behind.
