He lives in or around Union City, CA. I dont know his story or what year/model of Ferrari he supposedly has. But I was unfortunate enough to have this jagoff buy a part from me on ebay, and he turned out to be such an unbelievable arrogant azzhole, that I refunded his money, cancelled the transaction and refused to ship him the part.
He even refused the ebay notification for the transaction cancellation and paid for the item AGAIN! So I had to cancel the listing completely per advice from ebay to stop him from repaying me again every time I refunded his money!

Now he's left me the first neg feedback ive gotten since 1999,
"Child masquerading as adult, psychotic communication. failed to send purchase :("

A day later, he's still harassing me with nasty and insulting emails... and calling ME a child??!

Apparently ebay doesn't find anything insulting, disparaging, or inaccurate about his feedback, so i'm currently at war with them to have them remove it.
If they ultimately refuse to remove it, then after 14 years and 2 months, i'm done with selling on ebay forever, and they know it, and they dont seem to give a damn about that either.

Anyway, if you're selling any Ferrari parts on ebay, I highly recommend you add "1eastbayguy" to your blocked bidder list!

I would not worry about 1 negative feedback on ebay. Users know that there are some really difficult customers out there(like what you had) and the majority talks(your positive feedbacks). Some people are just difficult.

Like Zakeen said don't worry about 1 negative feedback. I do however understand your frustration with eBay not working to remove the negative if you can prove you’re not at fault.

So can you tell us what happened with the buyer?

The problem is, my feedback is now at 90%, because people don't bother to leave feedback anymore, at least not for me! I often wonder why I go to extreme lengths to pack things until they're indestructible, and break my ass getting the stuff to FedEx or the post office within hours of receiving payment... Nobody appreciates it.

In the last year, I have completed 127 sale transactions, and only TWELVE people have bothered to leave feedback! so in a case like that, 1 neg is devastating to your percentage! if that trend continues, that comment is going to be on page 1 of my feedback profile FOR YEARS!!

ebay is still "investigating", and they filed a "buyer abuse" complaint for me because this all started with a message he sent (via ebay messenging) asking for a quantity discount deal outside of ebay. the ebay rep was able to see that message and all the subsequent, verbally abusive messages that followed because I replied to him "Sorry, no can do".

I completly agree about people not leaving feedback on ebay I have sold many items and it seems like half don't bother with feedback. I on the other hand leave feedback 100% of the time.

I hope it works out for you in the end with ebay and they remove the comment. Even if they don't take the comment off your page the rating will only last for 1 year and then it is removed.

    Erick,
Its never removed, it just doesn't count toward your rating after 1 year. with 25 feedbacks per page by default, at the rate i'm going, it'll be on page 1 for years...
I dont have even the slightest optimism that ebay will remove it, so i'm making preparations to take down my ebay store.
The HUGE mistake I made, was posting this stuff in my company's ebay store, so this will have an impact on my business and revenue.

The thing that chaps my ass the most is how ebay/Paypal is all about the buyer, of whom they receive exactly ZERO of their revenue. They will always screw the seller, who provides 100% of their revenue!!

Yes, Ebay has a chance to be a good useful place for buying/selling of goods & products. But they definitely need to change their current business model, otherwise legit businesses will avoid the whole mess. It was a great idea, but the execution has been lacking development going forward.

Some people don't and never will have any class.
The reason I only buy and not sell on ebay.

Taking away the ability of sellers to leave feedback for buyers was the worst thing they could have done.

Googled him. Couldn't find anything. Really surprising, as I know Steve is very patient with idiots. 'Course, my google skills are below average.
Hard to go through life without running into one every now and then. If murder was legal, there would be fewer of these guys.

Offer buyers 1% or 5% pick your number instant cash back for right now feedback. They should be so happy in an instant act of your kindness that even if your package is late they should be happy as can be.

While I'm a 100% buyer for 11 years, this was an epic fail for ebay.

Ive been on ebay now for 14 years. Lately less buyers are leaving feedback. I also get pissed when I buy something and the seller dosnt leave feedback when I have paid. After all thats all he has to worry about. I pay he leaves feedback. But lately the seller dosnt leave feedback untill the buyer has left it for him....Why? The latest Ebaycrap is if you are an international buyer, they now show the listing with item price, shipping charges and now they have added custom fees and taxes. Ebay is slowly becoming a joke.

It used to be so great...I needed to buy my first home so I got on eBay and began selling a lot of stuff. Made lots of money in less than 3 months and had my down payment.

That was 13 years ago...so different now.

PayPal is the worse for merchants. If a buyer makes any type of claim, they end up winning and are able to keep what you've shipped for free.

BTW, since I'm always an international buyer, for some reason now I can't choose a delivery address out of my origin country and this drives me mad. I've got a US address where I'm able to receive my parcel but I can't. They made some changes 6 months ago. Same situation with PayPal.

Amen to that brother, sellers can only leave positives?!? WTF? I suppose that makes ebay "enablers" too!

I googled him too, and searched in the member directory here... I also found nothing. Yes, I was patient and VERY professional and respectful in my emails to him, apparently he's too stupid to understand logic and reasoning, because he defines it as "psychotic communication". Yes, I am patient with idiots... I have to be, I live in Las Vegas!!

Did I forget to mention that this idiot, who actually once referred to himself as my "Ferrari brother" in an email.... destroyed my reputation and paralyzed my ebay revenue stream over a $50 wheel center cap?? I have not had a single sale in my ebay store since that feedback was posted. Still waiting for an official determination from ebay about removing the feedback... will keep you posted.

Nice find. I love it when arses are exposed. Did you guy know that Ebay owns paypal?
When I sell something, because im in Canada I am obligated to except paypal and cannot demand a check for payment. Ebay takes their cut from the sale somewhere around 6 or 8 percent and then when the money is deposited in my paypal account they take another 3 percent. If I want to move the money into my bank acct they take another cut. Ebay and paypal sicken me, they are the definition of what going radically wrong in our world.

Wow Tim, How did you find that? It seems obscure that one could find that. Some people really know how to move data around. Then others like me can't find our way out of a wet paper bag.
