Those are the one who born with silver spoon where they had nothing
to worry in term of moneys. all they need to do is study study study and
if moneys is needed, dont worry, paa got plenty. that is why they can even affort
to drive a fancy car to school where they dont even start their first carreer.

    Sorry,
Let me rephrase, would the Insurance cover him market value ? Or their own number as Insurance companies have been notorious in low balling total lost cars.

Most of these cars are third party only as there is no paper value, cars are usually paid fully in cash. Anyway the 3rd party, fire and theft insurance is an absolute rip off, at around 10k + for these cars.

it safer to had one better then none. It do come in handy when u really need it. Fire usually start small to uncontrollable. Using the wrong type of extinguisher for a given fire could be merely ineffective, or it could make matters much worse.

What Type of Fire Extinguisher is Best-Suited for a Car?

Your vehicle presents several different fire hazards: oil, gas, electrical wires and upholstery. Your car fire extinguisher must be able to handle every possible mishap.Dry powder fire extinguishers are the best choice for a vehicle or boat. The fire repellent inside is rated for use on any A, B and C or E class of fire (depending on your national fire classifications). This means that a dry powder car fire extinguisher will fight fuel and electrical related fires, as well as common organic combustibles such as upholstery, paper, cloth and wood products that are integral to your vehicle.

Besides a vehicle fire extinguisher, it is wise to have a fire blanket, maintenance tools, small pylons, and cold weather body protection in your safety kit. These items are meant to ensure a safe trip for all.

this govt has done a wonderful job in destroying the luxury condo sector and auto industry. How does making car ownership prohibitively more difficult serve the people's best interest?

Welcome to Singapore. The govt tends to over react. We had to pay a lot in the must and with the new tax, it is now ridiculous. The govt collects 66% of the amount we pay for a car excluding COE. that is robbery.

I am happy knowing there are enough reserves to remunerate the most highly paid politicians in the world hence ensuring the strongest think tank of overpaid geeks on the planet...

But truth be said there are far worse places to live than singapore. And if the reserves were used to support all we could end up in a situation where lazy turds end up just waiting to collect money from the government. The wonders of a welfare society...
