I used LST a few years ago.
    Great guy. Incredible service.
He lives about 2 hours away from me and rebuilt a set of struts for me overnight.
If you need something done, he's the man.

Ah! now I recognize you! You are the one who put me on to him!. I recall you saying you lived close by the shop.

As far as recreating the labels, triple x, that is very cool. You should elaborate some us us may be interested.

Very nice video, I hope this is not a repost:

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CLgEXfMc88&feature=player_embedded]Lamborghini Countach Lp400 vs Ferrari 512 BB - YouTube[/ame]

The LP400 doesn't win. However, it doesn't seem to be pushed as hard as the BB.

I'm guessing Lambo's parent company isn't exactly itching to invite 60 Minutes for a return visit after the Audi 5000 "Unintended Acceleration" report of the mid 80's.

With so many other means of media communication available today, I doubt Lambo is camping outside 60 Minutes' door.

    They still make 60 Minutes?

I know they do, but when was the last time you heard 60 Minutes being relevant, really?

Looks like the front grills are painted to match too.
This may look nicer in person, if not should be an easy fix.

    I agree, an easy fix.

I wondered if maybe the colors in the pic were off since it's a black car but all the other background colors look ok. I can't really see what color the interior is but I hope it doesn't match the mustard yellow.

I don't know these cars well enough to spot anything but an obvious fake but since no one has said anything, I'm assuming it's real, yes?

I've read this entire thread and didn't want to ask any questions that might have already been answered up thread but here goes one:

One thing I don't understand is there have been some pics of Countachs with an air inlet near the middle of the rear tire and it looks like one that an MR2 or a Fiero might have but they were apparently real Countachs; is that an aftermarket wheel flare or ???

I believe you are referring to the holes which allow the USA Rear "Toaster" bumpers to mount? There is a strut that goes through the body and attaches to the frame.

Here is a perfect example. My Countach with the bumperettes still installed. My friend's 88.5 with the outboard bumperettes removed. Note the big holes.

Most people plug the holes, sand and repaint.

Last I saw on that car in Malaysia was a year ago & it's in a very sorry state in need of a complete rebuilt. Motor seems seized, a lot of rust & seller wants an unreal price of it. I have pics of it somewhere.
